its great u dont have much knowledge about the lore. i enjoy the reaction of arcane fans most for the curiosity when they discover that arcane just covers such a small part of the world.

Some quick context and lore Hairy lava man is a guy named Ornn, god of the forge. he has sworn (and when a god makes an oath, it's basically unbreakable) to never forge another weapon unless the world itself is in imminent danger. Ice lady with the pig is Sejuani, leader of one of the 3 major (human) tribes of the freljord (ice place), the other 2 major tribes being led by her sisters, Ashe and Lissandra (they hate eachother, don't ask) Cool viking guy who throws the axe is olaf, he's on a suicide quest to die in glorious combat because a Seer said he'd die peacefully in his sleep in bed when he was old. The bears are the children of Volibear, storm god (popped up in the clouds briefly), Both Ornn and Volibear are siblings who had a major battle years ago and don't like each other. As stated above, because of how vicious their battle was, Ornn vowed to never forge another weapon again unless he was able to predict a realm ending event happening soon. moving on the spartna guy, that's pantheon (technically he's a dude possessed by pantheon) and is the god of war, not to be confused with Kratos. he's climbing mount targon (basically mount Olympus) because he hates the other gods, Leona, the sun god pops down to dual him for a bit, then Aurelion Sol (basically the god of anything between this particular solar system to the entire universe, not particularly descriptive, but he's a big space dragon) knocks pantheon off the mountain(technically Sol doesn't like anybody related to Mount Targon, but he was tricked by their rulers and they chained him thus they control him and his powers), causing our boi to lean into his god powers to yeet back up to finish his beef with the gods. Sand place (Shurima) has Taliyah, The earthbender, helping Kai'sa (sexy mutant suit lady) fight the children of Rek'sai (the big monster from the hole) to lure rek'sai out so that Kai'sa can hop into the void to do things and such, meanwhile Taliyah stays behind to seal the hole once kai'sa is in. this is likely the thing leading into future story development, so we don't know a lot of the "whys" yet. Kais'sa for context is from the land of Shruima which long ago was sucked up by the "Void" Kais'a herself was sucked up when her village went under as a child and she only survived because she decided to go further into the Void, thus she found a piece of the void and it's molded to her body. She eventually escaped the void and has vowed to protect all other realms from the void trying to suck up everything. Basically, the void wants to devour everything it touches.

Some context: This cinematic is described as "Past, Present, and Possible Futures." The scene with Kayle, Morgana, and Aatrox is set centuries ago in ancient Demacia (the magic racism nation). Aatrox is a Darkin who wants to destroy the world so he can finally die, and Kayla and Morgana are the twin Aspects of Justice. Here, you can see that where Kayle embraces her divine heritage (Aspect mother, mortal father) and shuns her humanity, Morgana is hesitant and prefers to use her dark (but not evil) magics to bind Aatrox. Put simply, Kayle is absolute justice (i.e. basically every crime is punishable by death) whereas Morgana believes in compassion and second chances. The second scene is with Yasuo, who is an old man in this timeline. The official line from Riot is that this is a vision sent to Yasuo by Kindred (the Lamb and Wolf who are a spirit of death). It is a "possible future," but not the future. In the end, the arrow that flies toward him is the arrow of Lamb, which is for those who accept their death, as Yasuo does here. Finally, the last scene is in the present day. Tryndamere was fighting off members of the Winter's Claw tribe and was severely wounded, whereupon he entered his Undying Rage (blood magic that makes him basically immortal). Here, he is shown to be fighting off Kindred because he has not accepted that he will die that day. Kindred are composed of Lamb and Wolf. Lamb grants the mercy of her arrows to those who accept their death, whereas Wolf hunts down those who run from their death. In the end, Kindred relent because Tryndamere is saved by Ashe, his Oathsworn (basically a political marriage, but they started to grow feelings for each other after a while). It's actually hinted that the battle with Kindred was in Tryndamere's mind, and in reality, he was fighting off the Winter's Claw, but he saw it as fighting off literal Death. Overall, this cinematic was chock full of lore.

You might wanna see netcrit video for the story... The website you pulled up doesnt really follow or explain anything. Necrit channel is like a lore dungeon for most of riot games lore so if you wanna know that should be a better way to understand the story and the universe as a whole

That blond guy is Ezreal, born in Piltover, never seen in the city though as he is a Indiana Jones like character that goes around exploring and ~stealing~ recovering artifacts from around the world. So if Arcane S2 continues to focus on Piltover/Zaun, he might have some appearance. Edit: I think he might be the key for the series to go to other places in a natural way. He can easily connect the story to Shurima, Shurima to Demacia, and from there the whole world of Runeterra.

Going into this adaptation, I knew there’d have to be a lot of tweaks to the story here and there in order to make it work; not only can you not adapt everything as real people are working at the stunts and such, getting older and everything else, but in live action replication of the manga as the anime was (plus extra) does not work the same. It’s not just budget, it’s about how to translate the tone so you embrace the silliness without making it not feel… fake. On the pacing stuff, even if we had 10-13 episodes for East Blue, choices like Nami joining at Shell Town make sense as they give you more early interaction between the crew mates; having Zoro’s fight with Mr. 7 (an event Oda-san has said happened before his first appearance) helps make him look impressive so when he’s tied up… yeah. Liked your reaction here!

If you really like the lore there are a few "only lore" cinematics, you may start with "An Ionian myth" and "Kin of the stained blade". If you want anymore suggestions, i'd galdy give them ;)

I will suggest you watch necrit's video titled story of league of legends explained. It will help you understand the world where these champions are based. Furthermore I will also recommend you watch voice lines as well...and lastly I think you will particularly enjoy Kin of the stained Blade.

I'm very late to the party, but... Eita is a straight male. Runa never had a crush on Yamada. Yamada is autistic-coded, which may further explain his character and behaviour to you. The LoL songs are really good for fitness, though I personally prefer the Worlds songs. These ones... -> ALL SONGS WORLDS (2014-2022) // LEAGUE of LEGENDS Camille as mentioned by AgentDark has a very good chance to appear in S2. Some people have leaked (though it may not be true) that Arcane S3 is the Noxus vs Ionia war, which you saw a snippet of here. Here's a character lore dump i've posted elsewhere if you're interested :) Jhin, The Virtuoso - a psychopathic serial killer who believes murder is art. His murders are meticulously planned for a dramatic and horrifying finale. He also has a real obsession with the number 4 (count how many shots he fires during the cinematic as he bows to take his last shot, since his 4th shot is always the most powerful and dramatic). He is from Ionia, and while I highly doubt he will be in Arcane Season 2, since his backstory is involved with some other champions Shen and Zed which is told in the Zed comics, it does seem in this cinematic that he has made his way to Piltover/Zaun and drawn the attention of... Camille, The Steel Shadow - the principal intelligencer of Clan Ferros, an extremely wealthy and influential clan among the ruling elite of Piltover, Camille is essentially the power behind the scenes of Clan Ferros. Heavily augmenting her body with Hextech implants, to the point that many wonder if she is more machine than human, Camille operates with with a sharp, precise efficiency as she runs her espionage and covert operations to ensure her clans dealings run smoothly. Clan Ferros was mentioned by name in Arcane S1 (by Mel in Episode 2), and imo Camille stands a pretty good chance of being introduced in Arcane S2. Draven, The Glorious Executioner - Draven is a Noxian, who is the brother of Darius (another champion). Like alot of Noxians, they were recruited into the Noxian warmachine at a young age but where Darius took to military life and command quite well, Draven was far more loose in his discipline. Still, both brothers quickly rose through the ranks but where Darius would eventually end up in the highest levels of Noxian command, Draven felt himself drawn to the gladiatorial pits known as The Reckoning Pits where criminals and political prisoners duel it out in a chance to earn their freedom (or die) while also providing entertainment to the Noxian citizens. Clearly bored with the substandard display on offering, a far more worthy opponent seems to take his interest... Riven, The Exile (the woman with the white hair) - Once a swordmaster in the warhosts of Noxus, Riven rose through the ranks on the strength of her conviction and brutal efficiency, and was rewarded with a legendary runic blade and a warband of her own. However, during the Noxus invasion of Ionia, Riven's faith in her nation was tested and ultimately broken after Noxus unleashed an indiscriminate chemical warfare attack that devastated both her warband and the Ionian forces ('friendly fire', from weapons created by a certain doctor who had previously worked with Silco....). Left clinging to life, the sole survivor due to the magical properties of her Rune Blade, she deserted and fled into the Ionian countryside. Sion, The Undead Juggenaut - A brutal warlord from a long ago era, Sion was denied death by a secretive cabal of Noxian sorcerers known as the Black Rose. Kept safely locked away in a suspended state deep underneath The Bastion (the massive fortified city that is the capitol of Noxus - you can see a painting of The Bastion that Mel did in Arcane S1), Sion is brought out and re-animated in times of need to serve as a brutally effective front line juggernaut for the Noxian Armies - essentially just being transported to the frontlines, awoken and pointed in the general direction of the enemy before being put back to suspended animation at the end of the, inevitably successful, attack. The Awaken cinematic appears to be depicting a long feared second invasion of Ionia, with Irelia leading the defense of a village against an army spearheaded by Sion. Luckily, she has back up of some other Ionian champions who make some cameos at the end: Karma, The Enlighted One - the woman who shields Irelia. Karma is the spiritual leader of Ionia, a sort of Dalai Lama like figure whose soul is reincarnated into a new body on death. Akali, The Rogue Assassin - the ninja woman with the smoke bombs. Abandoning the Kinkou Order after the Kinkou pledged neutrality following the Noxian invasion, Akali now strikes alone against the enemies of Ionia. She is a fairly popular character who will show up in other videos (the K/DA kpop music videos notably, as well as the newest Star Guardian stuff). Yasuo, The Unforgiven - the warrior with the wind power. Yasuo, and his brother Yone, are also very popular characters. I won't say too much since they have a couple of cinematics which you should definitely check out: * The Path, An Ionian Myth | Spirit Blossom 2020 Animated Trailer - League of Legends * Kin of the Stained Blade | Spirit Blossom 2020 Cinematic - League of Legends Kennan, The Heart of the Tempest - A Yordle, who's a long standing member of the ancient Kinkou Order in Ionia who work to maintain the balance between the material and spiritual realms.

The blonde girl is Luxanna Crownguard (Lux for short) and the big guy with sword is her older brother Garen Crownguard. They are from the Kingdom called Demacia, that is incredibly xenophobic towards mages (kinda like Piltover in Arcane but 100 times more). So since Lux was born with powerful magical abilities, she had to hide it most of her life. But recently there was a mage civil war in Demacia, led by escaped mage Sylas (the guy with chains who fought Garen). The events of this war were explained in detail in comics, that Riot Games did in collaboration with Marvel, as well as spinoff game "The Mageseeker" where you play as Sylas. But overall the story ended with Demacians becoming more accepting of mages, and Lux even became the leader of a town for mages-refugees. But Sylas, who is much more extreme than Lux, still wants to remove the current leaders of Demacia, because he doesn't trust their promises to stop hunting down mages. So he allied with some warriors from Freljord (which is a giant northern country bordering Demacia) and attacked Demacia, as we can see in this cinematic. Also, Lux is incredibly popular in the game (especially among women), but she also gets a lot of hate, because Riot constantly releases new skins for her, since she's so popular, but in the same time less popular champions in the game can go years without new skin 😅

its canon that caitlin and VI are a couple. Before Arcane we had suspicions but Arcane just cemented it as fact. This cinematic totally hits differently after watching Arcane. Thanks for your reaction! I really enjoy seeing others brought into the League of Legends Universe (World of Runeterra) by Arcane. I know Riot games has worked really hard to develop a ton of lore and with many interesting stories, each major region in Runeterra is unique and theres just so many more stories to be told!

Watch the Warriors cinematic. You'll recognize some characters and get to know some more. Plus you'll get to see Piltover again. It's my favorite by far for the sheer epicness and goosebumps.
