I don’t understand one thing. Why was Hollywood Pictures needed when it was essentially serving the same function as Touchstone? Why not just increase Touchstone’s output?

I was Never really into Disney Channel and Cartoon Network. I was all about FOX PBS and NICKELODEON! Man, what an innovative cool time/era for television.

Now we have Marvel Studios, with better and more promoted content.

I will always remember the osund of TOushstone Pictures before a movie started. ITs up there with the Disney intro, Columbia Pictures, Tristar, and a few others.

Renting videos for $10 a night is outrageous...

Hopefully, Disney reclaims the rest of the stuff they made and then released under "Touchstone." I could see Disney+ being used to show that Disney CAN make mature films and not just family-friendly films.
