@@SaynYT Do you have how many scadu fragments? I would recomend the max scadu blessings. You can try between his attacks stop blocking to get some stamina also you can use the cristal tear stamina revovery. Last tip dont use summons they make the fight harder he will get more health stick only with the mimic. I saw your coment before you changed I was using the mog spear

A good build for new game that’s really good and plays like him.

Thank you, about that build I sadly would recomend a standart build focus on Jumping attacks with them, they are one of the most pretty swords in the game but the skill takes too time and you get a lot of damage they are amazing on mobs but on bosses they are quite hard manly in DLC where they are quite agressive and more one sad thing is the moveset is the same of the ones in the base game they could make them a little bit more different

during the animation of f.S (far y), you'll notice there's 2 hits and after the 2nd his he hooks his arm across his chest and his fist is near his head. you wanna time your next c.S (close y) right when that animation is ending. after his arm stops is when you wanna time it. i would try practicing c.S > f.S > c.S to try to learn the timing. Don't worry about the rest of the combo because that stuff is easier to get once you can get this timing down. if it doesn't come out you pressed too early. if it does come out and the combo resets then you pressed it too late. hope this helps!

If you are new its normal to not get everything now but with time you will be able to do that, just keep playing, enjoying the game and you will get the timings right.

try binding your movement to A S D space, so you can do motion inputs easier. for kabari you just roll your fingers across a s d and then hs. for tatami you'd just roll from s to d ( s sd d) and k. youzansen is tougher. if you want to do it instantly after jump try rolling a s d space, but hold d and space and input slash right after you finish the motion

You can still do this at the current patch 2:02 tbh maybe you failing at the Overhead timing, you could try doing the combo without the Tatami at first and then when you get the rhythm try to add the Tatami maybe that helps

@@ez336 So far I have I’ve done the tutorials back when I first got the game and it overloaded my brain with info which led me to thinking it takes too much to play this game and deleted it. This time around I decided YT guides would be better and so far they are. I’ve just been honing my skills against friends who have more experience and soon I’ll be playing more online.

@@MNM4US Just take your time and don't pressure your self this is not a race take your time learning, I would say the first step to enjoy this kind of games is enjoying the learning phase and see your progression day after, and when you finally land your first combo in match that you have been training you will get hook, I hope my video did help you in any capacity and that you keep playing it!

this a personal tip but start the game playing with anji because anji is easy to understand and to master and his gameplay teaches you important mecanic likes overheads and mix ups in a pretty easy way. but if you want to start with baiken is tottaly undertandable and a pretty good character also

Most important part is aside from fundamentals is just learning how to tk youzansen and get used to your safe jumps with tatami and air heavy slash when you get knockdowns. Build off of it the more you get comfortable and you'll do great.

I think you'll get used to it easily, generally anime fighting games are complex but this one tries to bring the simple core and then within the core there is complexity
