I visited a number of real life anime locations when I was in Japan late Nov early Dec 2023. Locations for shows. "Super CUB", "Non Non Biyori", "Bocchi The Rock", "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid" and "Mitsuboshi Colors"...Would love to have done more..but money and time is always a factor...Certainly would have loved to have visited locations from "Yuru Camp"...But just not enough time or money...Plus getting to alot of these places would really take some planning, transport wise....And not knowing the language makes that kind of thing tricky as the best of times.

For context, some folks on the Steam forums were complaining that Blue Sakuya is terrible, can't win with it, needs buffs and better cards, etc. I just laughed and laughed. Blue Sakuya is for combo decks. If you don't know how to build/play combo decks, you're going to struggle. If you learn to build/play them, though, Blue Sakuya is one of the most broken decks in the game right now. This video is just to show that it's viable (*cough*)broken(*cough*) on Lunatic difficulty. If you want commentary then watch my Blue Sakuya playthrough on Hard, which is the same basic deck composition.

Would you say this is worth 20$, if I have zero connection to the whole Touhou-thing? Usually deckbuilders are around half of that, so I'm a bit apprehensive.

I don't understand most of that ending, but I feel like, with the hospital flashbacks and Katia FINALLY speaking our language at the end (and saying that it's "time to wake up"), that we're comatose, and the game is the "fever dreams" we're having in that state (which may also explain why the Katia we're playing with doesn't look like the one in the hospital cutscenes, as well as the looping mechanic.). Generally, this was an entertaining playthrough. :3

Exiled and I also recorded a full playthrough of Arizona Sunshine 2 and it wasn't until we were done that I noticed my recording software had my mic muted the entire time so that whole thing had to be scrapped... Pretty great game, though. You get a doggo friend who can tear apart zombies on command, lol.

Is there a way to attach the camera to the head bone of a model, to achieve a fake "1st person" view? Yes, I know you can load any model as player, but since I don't have motion controls, it is in T-Pose, not mentioning I can't customize or load a motion into it. Dance XR has a 1st person view feature, but I like Mocu more, since it's easier to use :D

The achievements indicate that there is an alternate ending which I assume you get after collecting all the nexus points. I'm currently replaying the game to get all the nexus points and stars so I will most likely record and upload the true ending once I do that.

Hello, how did you get this game to run on valve index? For me the menu keeps opening all the time, no matter how many times I close it. At least they fixed the super sensitive triggers.

As no one has commented so far, I'd like to say "Thank you" for covering this journey. I really enjoyed Super Cub (still wishing for a second season) so it's great to see the real locations. After this I think I'll binge watch your Yuru Camp/Heya Camp VR tours as well. :)

Hi there. I'm really enjoyed this video, ty. I just reach adept rank, so obviously can't give you any advice.. I'd like the way you sacrifice tile efficiency to a bigger hand, since I almost never do it I believe it's a higher rank strategy. But maybe it's better to play South round, where, as you say, you have more hands, so more time to collect big hands? In a quick game quick hands tends to win. Just share my thoughts. They finally released this on Steam and I'm just now finding out that my client bugged out around 38:48. When they start waving, they're supposed to be whooshed up by bubbles and exit the stage. Then the box that I was waiting for is supposed to appear and teleport you to an empty room while you open it. I never got the box so I never teleported and that's why I got to see a lot of weird behind-the-scenes stuff after the show was supposed to end. I feel kinda special now, even though it was Exorcist levels of horror. =) As for the box, I got to find out what was inside it. When you open it, 3 tiny plushie-esque whales pop out each with the face of one of the girls in it's mouth. Then the whales disappear and bubbles come out that say "love you". Two disappointments, though, were that they didn't fix Shikiri's bugged eye tracking and they didn't balance the audio levels. They did, however, move the avatars out of the way of the second stage so you can keep them on which is great. I disliked being forced to turn them off when I watched live.

I only started watching anime this year and "A Place Further Than the Universe" was definitely one of my best watches so far. It's nice to see how similar all the locations in the show are compared to real-life Japan. Thank you for creating these videos; they are very informative and I know you did your research well.
