I used to have a lock n load ap press with these exact dies and had exactly the same problem as you. Could never get the damn press to run smoothly. Sold the whole lot in the end and bought a 650 Dillon with Dillon dies. Works like a dream

I purchased a Redding form and trim die in 300 Savage. Ran the 308 brass through and then trimmed it to length. Then ran the brass through my FL size die. Perfect cases every time.

I am experiencing the same issue but with a carbine length. Everything is correct and the block is square. 125 and 220g Sig rounds fail every time. Winchester 147g rounds work perfectly but my gas block as to be nearly wide open. I'm stumped. :( I was thinking of getting a pistol length barrel or trying a plain gas block. Any clues?
