The video claims that the spring tube should ALWAYS face opposite the hinge side, i.e. face away from the hinges. The Norton manual for UNI-7500 makes the exact opposite statement: place spring tube end toward the hinge edge ... Images of the door closer online also show the spring tube away from the hinge. What the hell is it now? Toward or away?

How do I rebuild a Norton door closer?

Any way I can adjust the speed of the automatic open and close? Not the hydraulic section but the actual motor speed. As well as the time delay between when the door goes from open to when it begins to shut?

My instructions have two dimensions of 1-1/2 plus 1/2 inch or 2 inches for the vertical dimension at 9:10 in the video. It does not appear to matter that much though. Great video showing Top Jamb Arm installation. Thanks!

If I'm having rouble getting the door to close all the way would assisting the spring time also make the door properly close? or do I need to buy new latches that require less force to close?
