      Just look deeper into classic dubstep from around 2004-2010, which is why it's called Distant Roots. There's a lot that focus just on the beat and sub bass. This song reminds me of 'Quest - Deep Inside', I recommend the full 4 track EP with Silkie, and Deep Medi is a great label owned by Mala DMZ that is still releasing music today :) Kromestar & Jay5's collabs like 'Try Harder' & 'Words' are nice too.

      ​​@@hihtitmamnan I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly, but Dub is a subgenre of Reggae. Some people do call this music dub as an abbreviation, especially since it can be heavily inspired by Dub, however this is deep OG 140 Dubstep. The term Dubstep dates back to 1999-2001 as producers such as Horsepower Productions and El-B were making 2-step garage with dub influence. Around 2004 was when the genre started becoming more of a half-time beat and less garage inspired, leading artists in the scene to sound even more dub influenced such as Digital Mystikz, Loefah, Skream, etc. Hope that helps :)
