I used to live by the blue rose and think the cook island pie was my fave! But hangis pretty up there. I wouldent reccomend the bolegnase. Still way better than the average pie but they put a lot of acidic tomato paste in wich gives me stomach upsets and Im a youngass human haha. Nothing else gives mw a burning tummy.

To all the Aussie pie makers out there...put a little bit of thyme in your pies,a hint of pepper,a small amount of onion ,carrot , celery (mirepoix)...just hint of garlic...like for f*uck sake ....add some flavour...I'm Australian....most pies are absolutely shit...like 19 out of 20 at least are total crap

Growing up in the 70s, we would have this all the time. Of course it was relatively cheap. We would have it on Vogel's bread, butter and I loved to have cheddar cheese with it. An ice cold glass of milk completed the picture. Thanks Mum for proving to us kids that we really did live in the land of milk and honey.
