I've had a chromebook for 4 or 5 years now. Its perfect for all I have todo on when out and about. The android apps are great! The one thing about Google is that they discontinue products and serves very often, and not much you can do about it. I really liked the google play music, google podcast, and google 1 vpn.

Can I chime in with something relevant? I very recently jumped out of the Apple ecosystem to a Chromebook (which I upgraded to 2tb of storage) and heavily make use of the fact that modern Chromebooks also have a full install available of Debian Linux. Between Debian's entire repository, Snap, and Flakpak options at your fingertips, you can use pretty much any native Linux desktop app, well, natively! Once installed, no cloud necessary. So I spent a little more money for a higher end device, and having a triad of platforms seamlessly working together on one device (ChromeOS + Android + Linux) is just ridiculously spectacular.

Question is, what Chromebook are you using? I'm thinking of getting one for my self for international travel.

I did much the same thing, switching from Apple to ChromeOS but went nuts and got an Android phone, watch and a nice upper-midrange Chromebook ($450 😁) but it didn't stick and I switched back to the "old familiar" Apple ecosystem. I do like the Android system a lot, though, and may try going in piecemeal this fall when the new gear comes out. I do still have a Chromebox and screen that I might pull out of the closet and warm up in the mean time. Great video, thanks. 👍

basically chromebook is fine just i expect Google would offer us better offline apps, their office suite apk is far back, you rely on internet for better office and actually i expect chromebook would run apps non playstore natively, not side loading

Same sort of story as me. It started with "What's all the buzz about pixel phones" I got a second hand one and loved its work flow. Then "How bad can a Chromebook be?" So I got an entry level second hand one off gumtree. I've never looked back, they're amazing. The integration is fantastic and the apps are getting better all the time. As you say full HD video editing, I'm not a gamer but I understand they're not bad at gaming. Google Docs took a bit of getting used to but once I understood how to import docs and sheets into Google. Glad I made the switch. Google android apps, we store and PWAs are great

What do you think of KVCore's new branding as BoldTrail? I'm on the fence about switching over. Right now, I'm using Real Geeks and Follow Up Boss together. BoldTrail claims to have made improvements to their platform, with more on the way. Have you noticed any changes or improvements yourself?

I think if you had a Pixel 8 Pro you'd agree that photos are much better than the iPhone. Something you didn't mention: the blue bubble on iMessage seems to give a sense of calmness, community when you're interacting w/ buyers/sellers. FaceTime is big too when doing a video for a client. I prefer Pixel myself to the iPhone, but you have to deal with reality too, and in my experiences that means using an iPhone.

So FUB doesn’t provide leads, just pulls from sources you need to provide. I don’t like the fact Lofty outsourced to CCP (confidentiality, privacy of North American client data) BUT seems like Lofty provides the best features & automatic lead generation? These CRMs are all confusing enough, I appreciate your review. Aside from websites (which is a trap into their ecosystem) who offers the most real world, useful lead generation out of the box? That is who should be the best? Being able to call through platform is nice but not essential (have to pay more on FUB for that feature too). The whole point of a CRM is who is the best at providing leads, then also having an easy to use, efficient user experience?

I am not using a CRM now. Looking at Top Producer or KVCore. I would be interested in hearing about the one you built though.
