I love this guy. I was learning how to play doumbek some years ago, bought the resin one in Ubud-Bali. He is really good. Been trying to look for his name for years, and suddenly when I hear someone play doumbek on TV, my wife said Jamal used to play this on your yourtube. Bang..!! Suddenly I look for him. As a percussionist I like the fact you can mount it and play with a foot. But it’s soft enough to play with hands too. It cuts through well giving you a nice accent tone

These don't feel or sound like an $80 product. They broke under normal usage in about a week. Just get an LP castanet machine for half the price of these.
