Man this ending made me sad, I was happy she got away/won only for doomhead to chase after her and decides to end. I know its left to the immigration but this ending implies that Doomhead kills her.

Clearly she was being recruited. She put up a hell of a fight & survived til the end of the game. Sounds like nobody is supposed to live & walk free from the 31 game.

I think i was watching LADIES MAN... but one of things that was stuck in my mind was UNIVERSAL was originally supposed to release it but it didn't get released until 3 years later on LIONSGATE.... And then when I seen the movie, I can see why they backed.... UNIVERSAL wasn't ready for that!!!! lol

Yea, kinda glad he didn't take on the project. He would've made it over the top, bat shit crazy, chock full of trailer park trash a la his other movies (House of 1000 corpses, Devil's rejects, the Halloween movies etc.). Personally I'd think Zack Snyder (Slither) or Alexander Aja (The Hills have eyes remake) would be good candidates to direct if they do greenlight the project again.

I remember seeing this teaser on tv in about 2000 or 2001. i was so stoked to see it. And then the movie just flatlined and was shelved by the studio for almost three years. It was pretty sad actually.

I think she died in the end. Maybe he was trying to get her to join, maybe not. But once she clenched her fists like that, his eyebrow raised and he was just ao happy to have a chance to end her. The song does a good job at foreshadowing "all the things come back to you" as he pulled behind her. "The good lord take you away", "Dream On" she believed she made it, but "dream on" because reality is setting in.

This is the best ending a rob zombie protagonist could hope for

This was the very first seen teaser and I was super excited for it. A buddy of mine then somehow ripped a copy from the internet with title screens and all! It was on two burnt dvds, I had seen it just before theater release. Bc it was burnt, it was a lower quality soo it added to the realism of being a low budget home video kinda feel. Loved it was that very moment, It was just far outside the box

I Always thought a good idea for a Sequel to this movie would be that Doom Head wasn't there to kill her, but offer her a Spot in the "Game" Since she's been through Literal hell, it's fair to imagine she's probably "Snapped" and i think that would be a cool idea for anyone who is a "Winner" and Survives the whole Ordeal, they get a chance to be the Cat instead of the Mouse.

Saw this trailer on the "Blade" VHS, it didn't come out for like 8 years after that. Rob had to do A LOT of cutting to get the film released. I have a friend who is a horror buff who had a chance to screen the original film in NYC around '99. He said he wasn't surprised at all that it couldn't get an R rating. He always speculated that much of the film was re-shot entirely, based on what he saw in the original.
