In the last 1,5 months I have gone over about 2000 tracks from 2000 and 2001 listed in the progressive house, progressive trance and tech house categories on discogs, yet I haven't been able to figure this one out. I really hope it gets found some day. Considering that every other track in this mix was released officially, I doubt it's a demo or an unreleased one, which makes me think that it's got to be hiding somewhere deep on discogs and one day we will manage to find it..
Yes, I've a few of M.I.K.E.'s sets from then and he doesn't seem to play that many white labels (which is odd given people would've been throwing everything his way back then). He played quite a wide range of tracks though, so even for a presumably released production this is proving a tough find!

I was looking for this track for 2 years !!
It sounds vastly superior to the original, purely sonically speaking. If only they had kept the saw stabs, instead of the phased pads, it would've been a killer remake, surpassing the original.
There was an earlier version of this track that DJ Precision used as the opening track of a mix. I played that set on repeat in my car back in '03 or '04. A version of the track was eventually released as 'Fading Memories' on the ASOT label in 2008.
The version I was referring to must actually be a later version of this track, as the mix I was citing is DJ Precision's 'Live @ Elevated Trance Radioshow (19-11-2004)' set. The lead melody is the same, but the rest of the track is quite different. Along with the later ASOT release there are at least three distinct versions as far as I'm now aware. Thanks for the upload and the trip down memory lane.
