Oh my i loved the New Monkees. I was around 14 or 15 when I watched the them. I taped every episode but they were often grainy because our tv antenna didn't quite reach the station in Cleveland. I lived a few counties below Sandusky Ohio so reception was iffy for the Cleveland channel. I still have their cassette tape so I may have to find my old cassette player and have a listen. I'm sure I can still sing along since I played their songs over and over. Great interview btw. So nice to hear the stories.
The music was really fun! It's also on Spotify now. We also have interviews with Larry and Marty! :) Thanks for watching!
He looks like a completely different person, not a bash, not an insult, just saying he looks much different, his Jeffersons appearance was a classic 80s episode🤙
Well, there are over 40 years separating appearances :) But no bash taken :)
I read “The James Bond Bedside Companion” some years back. It is crammed full of information on both the films and the books up to that time. So it was good to actually hear from Steven; he always seems to have something new to offer. (I believe the last film covered was “Never Say Never Again,” a film I’m fond of.) “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” remains my all-time favourite film, and George Lazenby my choice for the best James Bond. I’ve felt as much since seeing it in New York City - in widescreen - during Christmas 1969. Without knowing the inside stories, I saw that Connery was bored and phoning in the role. He would not have done better than Lazenby, and that includes the tragic ending. As in real life, Lazenby was the most athletic Bond, and most credible in the action sequences. In fact, the screen test for the hotel room fight clinched the role for him. For all the bad-mouthing done by Diana Rigg and Cubby Broccoli, many among the cast and crew praised Lazenby for his professionalism and how well-suited he was for Bond. Vic Armstrong said, “George was active and fit and fun, and he enjoyed hanging out with us.” Whatever difficulties Lazenby had in his career, I’m glad he didn’t submit to the dreck directed by Guy Hamilton.
Feel Lazenby was extremely underrated as Bond. Was a really good film as well. Thanks for watching!
Wow could you imagine her in the Karate Kid? She would’ve been really good as Ali, I could totally see it
Brea Arthur was gay???
I LOVED Tony! I was a tomboy Tony but,LOVE IS BIGGER BASEBALL BABY!
She was my biggest crush as a teen. She and Kim Richards. But Diane more so. That smile😊. And even though I did not turn my eyes in Amityville 2 she was even more beautiful and if you saw the movie you know what I'm talking about. Tastefully done even though the situation was messed up. And Diane doesn't really look that much different today than she did back then
I think Diane was a lot of people's crushes :)
What a great interview! I loved this show as a 10 year old kid!
My favorite show as a kid! :) Was great to get to chat with Meeno. Thanks for watching!
Great interview. What an interesting, likable, and knowledgeable guy. Another great job guys
Could've spoken to him for a lot longer. Great stories! :)
Charlie Sheen carried this movie on his back. I love it. It’s a guilty pleasure type movie. Seen it more than several times and always enjoyed it.
Right there with you! Fun movie, and always fun to revisit! Thanks for watching!
I loved Hart To Hart it's a wonderful show I didn't get to see The Girl From U.N.C.L.E because it was before my time and it's the same with Man from U.N.C.L.E I didn't get to see either one but I did get to see her in McClintock with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara and then Hart To Hart came on the air I really enjoyed it I think her and Jill St.John resemble one another I really did like William Holden he had made an appearance on I Love Lucy.... When I saw the look on his face after Lucy set her nose 👃 on fire I thought he'd have a heart attack and Ricky almost fainted... hilarious and she got to kiss 💋 him... I've forgotten she was in Herbie the Love Bug it's been ages since I've seen it
Yes, to all of that!Hart to Hart was a favorite growing up, and The Love Bug have seen many, many times! :)
I really enjoyed this interview she's a doll and she was great as Tabitha and Bewitched is still is one of my favorites I try to see a favorite episode when I can and she had a great time on the show especially around ENDORA and Aunt Clara and Uncle Arthur she got to work with some of the greatest legends in Hollywood
Yes, so many legends on that show! And Erin was great fun with fantastic stories! Thanks for watching!

Feel jealous! :) Would still see them now!
This was great, he is such a get gy. Love him andBarneyMiller. Thank You.
We loved talking with Hal! Agreed. Incredible person, and great stories! Thanks for watching! :)
How did he watch Lassie with Tommy Rettig if his family didn't own a TV until his second season of Lassie???
Good question. We'll have to follow up :)
Hi Ike and Jon, what a great episode and Jon Provost seems like such a nice guy. I enjoy his appearances at the Poulter Manor on Creature Features. For next Tuesday maybe you could call up Kurt Russell or maybe Burt Ward 🙂
Jon was great! Extremely nice both on and off camera. Burt Ward has been on. Check out his episode! We'll see what we can do about Kurt Russell :)
Thank you!
Thanks for watching! :)
@@PopCultureRetro You're welcome
Thanks so much guys! It is so fun and interesting to hear about their lives 😊.
Fun for us as well! :) Thanks for watching!
Interesting, good chat. 28:56 L.A. MadDogs. If you can, ask Ike what where his experiences like working with Newell Alexander and Mitch Carter. Also, how much was the recently passed Jan Rabson involved with the L.A. MadDogs? Other great ADR talent coordinators were Leigh French and Mickie McGowan. One is retired and the other one has passed away.
We will have to follow this up!
With Jan Rabson, i mean if he was, it may sound weird, a recurring looper on the L.A. MadDogs or if he was a guest looper. The actor Nicholas Guest is a guest looper *nudge nudge*
@@rickifriki Nudge received and Noted! :)
II would be interested to know more about Marta's biological parents.

Love this interview!! Can someone upload his instagram content?
Would love to see that as well! :) Thanks for watching!
Marta is an interesting person and comes across very genuine. Thanks for the podcast.
She was EXACTLY how you read it! :) Warm off the camera as well. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for another walk down memory lane. Lost In Space is an all time favorite and it was nice finding out what Marta Kristen is up to now!❤
Marta was so much fun to talk with! Was a blast for us! Thanks for watching! :)

PRAY 🙏 🤲 for GRAY, Michael Gray.
Michael Gray, should have “GRAY HAIR” 👨🦳by now at age 73 he probably Colors it, dyes it Black. He doesn’t look good today.
I hope you can get all the Brady kids on your show.
So do we! :)

He's on our wishlist as well! :)
@@PopCultureRetroHow about the substitute Brady Girls? Leah Ayres, Geri Reischl and Jen Runyan?
They are on the wishlist as well. :)
Interesting she had a singing career in Europe
Has a great voice! :)
My favorite perk of staying at a Disney resort was Stacey and Must Do Disney.
Wasn't a Disney trip until we saw Stacey! :)
And VO Buzz Weekly got to appreciate the Voice Over business and become a fan of Voice actors
Aww man! I wish you asked her about the Sindy doll! This was great 😎👍
Only so much time, but we'd love to have Susan back! :) Thanks for watching! :)
Thank you so much for a great chat, Ike and Jonathan! And to everyone who watched and reached out, your kindness means the world to me! Forever "I'm Your Host", Stacey XO
Thank you again for doing it! It was tremendous fun! :)
“Pretzels und Beer!” Love Stacey. She was always my first “I’m back” memory. Is she a Disney legend yet?
She most certainly should be named a Disney Legend! :)
A memorable line for sure! 😄
JOY ON THE BUGALOOS WAS MY FIRST CRUSH (O_O) Glad to see a recent interview guys, best wishes Caroline
Have a feeling Caroline was a lot of people's first crush! :)
It's crazy that these two are still hanging around each other after all these decades later. This was my childhood go to show. Mr. Rogers came afterwards. But the see ya see ya ending song on every episode used to play in my head as a child throughout the day in school and now I'm 50 years old and still playing that song on my computer wondering how I got so old lol.
Hearing them sing that song brought back so many great memories! So nice that they're still friends. :) Thanks for watching!
An hour isn't enough. I could listen to you guys talk about this movie all day. It's such an underrated classic. And no, I'm not from Winnipeg, I'm from San Diego, CA. I would LOVE to see it as a Broadway show. Having the theater set up to be The Paradise itself is an absolutely genius idea. And hearing all that gorgeous music live would be wonderful. But, it being a Broadway show, I think there'd be room for additional new songs, too, penned by Paul Williams of course. I'd love for a duet between Winslow and Phoenix: He's singing about her, how much she inspires him, while he's locked up composing and she's on the other side of the stage, singing about how she misses him since she believes he's dead. And then they meet center stage to dance together in a fantasy sequence, soulmates untied as they should have been had Swan not corrupted them both. Something like that. Fantastic episode. Long live "Phantom of the Paradise"!
I think your idea would be met with enthusiasm from MANY! The film has such a large following. Would probably be a lot of fun in the theater as well. :)
I tuned in to this interview hoping to learn how to pronounce Radames Pera and stayed for the whole thing. I have wondered what prompted Michael Landon to kill off John Jr. I have my theories that were substantiated by this interview. Very interesting! Radames Pera should write a book.
I believe he is. :) Thanks for watching!
Has he retired? I don't see anything listed past 2020.
No. Just took a small break, and will be back out again! :)
I can still recognize Carol, but Paula looks different. I guess because she always had the pigtails and not to mention the fact this was over 45 years ago that I probably last seen that show..
I think the pigtails, because facially, thought just about the same. :)
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS INTERVIEW!!! I used to watch the Magic Garden on WPIX-TV Channel 11, way back when I was in the second grade with my mother every afternoon. Thank you for the beautiful memories from my childhood! ❤
No lie, this was one of our favorite interviews. Brought us back to childhood! :) Thanks for watching!
Out dog was named Cindy after Cindy on the Brady Bunch.
Same logic as to why we almost named our dog Rerun :)
So a quick question having to do with the intro to all your videos that will come across as dumb on my part due to its obviousness if you answer yes, or slightly insulting to you if you answer no. The intro line to your videos about the podcast being the 15th best among the residents of the Golden Years Retirement Community of Boca Raton, Fla, is that intended to be facetious?
Not insulted. :) We get asked this a lot. And like Santa, the Easter Bunny, and honest politicians, the residents of the Golden Years Retirement Community are something that we believe in. And hopefully, we'll crack their top ten sometime soon!
Looks like Michael Gray, dyed his hair dark and Colors it to hide his white, gray hairs since he’s in his 70’s today.
I just saw you Ike on Little house on the prairie and i just rented Escape from Witch mountain with Betty Davis and Christopher Lee. I loved thst movie when i was a teenager it was really interesting how they used the supernatural stuff back then. You was ine of my favorite young actors when i was young. You has such a sweet way about you. You can really see it in little house. That awefull Mrs Olson picking in you and your family on the episode. Lol! You are dtill very handsome. This is the first time seeing your video on here. Just wanted to let you know that I was and am still a admirer of yiur work.
Thank you very much for your kind words! :) Hope you enjoy the rest of the videos as well! :)
Love Christopher Knight and the Brady Bunch! I'd love to see some of the child cast of the original Yours, Mine and Ours on here (just a request 😉). Great interview!
Will see what we can do! :) Thanks for watching!
This is all just video games coverage
I hope he'll be okay, now that his brother Marty is gone. Im proud of Sid for staying strong
Same. He seems to be doing well. A dynamo at any age.
Does anyone know what Michael Gray’s, heritage or Origin history is he from.
I haven't watched the Brady Bunch since I was a child in the early '70s, but certain scenes and moments are etched forever in my memory. Christopher (Peter) was my favourite of the Brady Boys. Whatever crazy story lines were thrown at him, I found him believable.
Revisited within the last few years, and was immediately transported back to childhood. And, yes, Chris was fantastic in it! :)
Great interview. I'm looking forward to the movie. I think Geoffrey Rush will make a very convincing Groucho, and I hope it is a successful return to filmmaking for him.
Rush has been great in just about everything! Also looking forward. Thanks for watching! :)
