Having lived in Nashville for over a decade I have realized it is a great tourist destination I have decided to start this channel to open up this great city with all of her attractions to those who are visiting. On this channel I will highlight local businesses, parks, and historic sites I have been to and review them to give you a better grasp of what Nashville has to offer. I will try to make it as informative and fun as possible and will showcase a variety of different locations in the coming months.

The Parthenon - Nashville attraction and historical landmark
The Parthenon was built in the late 1890's for the Tennessee Centennial Exposition. This building is the only full scale model of the Parthenon in the world, earning Nashville the nickname of "the Athens of the south"
This museum houses the an Athena Parthenos statue that stands a whopping 41'10" tall, as well as a small exhibit on the Tennessee Expo for which the building was built, and an exhibit showcasing Tennessean artists from different parts of the state. This is a very economical (less than $10) stop for anyone wanting to take a moment away from the hustle and bustle of other activities around Nashville.

Cheekwood is a historic home surrounded by beautiful gardens and a beautiful state park. Being built in the late 1920's Cheekwood retains the spirit of that era in the decor and the history that goes with it. Lil' Choo Choo BBQ

This local barbecue restaurant sits about 5 minutes from Nashville International Airport and has very good prices for really good barbecue. It has a good variety of sauces to top your choice of meat and is the only place in Nashville, that I know of, carries white barbecue sauce. Hillsboro Village Drive Thru

Hillsboro Village is an area just west of downtown Nashville that is a local shopping and dining area. It rests on the edge of Vanderbilt University lending a college town feel to it.
