A great video with graphics that educate the viewer the subtle differences in geometry between the bikes in lucid detail. And that closing statement just nailed it!!! I got myself a Synapse and for precisely the same reasons ; had I watched this video before my purchase, it would have bolstered my confidence.

Having owned a race geometry bike for about 6 years I can safely say I should have got an endurance bike. Unless you're actually racing then it's just a way to make cycling less fun because it gets uncomfortable fairly quickly.

I found kayaking kinda late in life, last summer, at age 54, but since then I take every chance I get to spend time on the water...usually by myself...still. But watching your vid has strengthened my desire to go on collective tours with a bunch of cool dudes who share that passion for paddling. Thanx for sharing your story and greeting from Germany.

I wish some of you could have joined me on my trip, at least through Maine. On May 1st 2017 I set out from Quoddy Head Light for Key West Florida. I had to be 3 miles offshore going down the Bold Coast. Maine was beautiful.

Great story ! A lot of the commentary in the video about why we kayak rang very true. For me it’s the ability to go where you want as fast or as slow as you like without being encumbered by limits of engines and fuel and a thousand bits of hardware. Great job you lucky lucky devils

This bike was really easy to assemble czcams.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

Pressure is applied to the INSIDE drop when turning? Two wheeled dynamics says the opposite, no? Also a subconcious act like balance, pressure is actually applied to the OUTSIDE drop when turning. The physics of the motion demands it but we don't realize it. This is best explained by looking at edu material published by some of the top motorcycle racing instructors. Keith Code has a particularly good explanation in his audio book.

no one ever mentions the fact the supersix doesn't allow you to turn beyond 55 degrees..if you do, the pin in the steerer tube crack the headtube and it's not covered by warranty. just google it - there is plenty of information on this design flaw. Thankfully they fixed it in the '23 version.

Most informative video haha very clear Thank you for sharing this is 2yrs ago This is a similar situation in my case The bike shop allowed me to test ride both bikes the aero was slightly hi price The endurance one was fit in my low budget, I ended up getting endurance First impression the aero was more efficient at first but just a little bit regret But now I realize i was right in my decision confirm w this video

I have a 2019 SuperSix. Sometimes I think about getting a new bike. (Mine does have disc brakes and SRAM Red Etap.) Mostly so I can just get an updated frame. But, I will go to the mountains and the bike just absolutely rails. I get my weight back a little to brake hard, get low in the front, and it just carves the corners. During the Boone Gran Fondo, I was always at front with just a small handful of people at the bottom of the descents. So, I just keep my bike longer. I cannot imagine a new one being really much better except for aerodynamics. I do think the best people for the SuperSix are people like me who do long days on a bike and like to do a lot of climbing when they get the chance. The geometry being a little more forgiving would be best. I tend to make more mistakes as I get very fatigued and I think most people do. The SuperSix wouldn't require someone to be as alert and focused as the SystemSix would. Or they could be like me. I am trying to figure out how to get the SystemSix and keep my SuperSix. It will have to wait a bit as I just bought the SuperSix CX for my new gravel bike. The paint on the bike is stunning and it is absolutely amazing.

Awesome comparsion! Just what I was looking for. I am personally going with an endurance bike for a couple of reasons: 1)My balance is horrible, having more controller balance is better for me 2)Gearing, endurance bikes tend to have higher teeth range so you can easily get that bailout 34t gear.
