The Area 28 Group is a newly established collection of closely affiliated automotive services businesses being brought together at the Geerings Business Centre along the Chart Road Ashford Kent.
The Group will provide a broad range of premium, specialist products and services, primarily; after-market upgrades such as for Infotainment, security, tuning, including remaps as well as the advisory and mandatory garage-based services such as MOT, servicing, repairs and fuel efficiency services. Other services such as key-cutting/programming, retrofitting, conversions, specialist vehicular electronics and diagnostics compliment the wide-ranging suite of automotive-orientated activities all at just one location - the proverbial one-stop-shop.

ZCars TFSI Kit Timelapse Build
This is the time-lapse of our first TFSI frame where we test fitted a DSG gearbox. This highlighted there needs to be a different set of trailing arms, as the DSG box is much larger and mopre clearance for the arms is required on the n/s. This was undertaken in June, but we have sat on the project for a few months as we wanted to test a TFSI conversion which had been finished and had already seemingly overcome some of the integration issues with any new engine variant. It also gave us an opportunity to verify our choice of engine.

This is the last journey made by the Fiat under its own steam and shortened my life expectancy as it was a hot day and thought it would be a good idea to be the support vehicle in an Atom. We had to top up the oil twice on a 30 mile trip, and it felt like I breathed-in most of lost oil.

whats with the vtec changeover not happening on some occasions? At 2:52 there is a weird double vtec noise, then at 3:04 it doesn't engage at all and struggles to rev past 7500rpm. Some kind of oil level/pressure issue?
Glynn Cockin I was wondering if it might have the wrong cam for the engine without the right crossover point.
VTEC won't activate until the coolant temp is upto operating level.
i have not seen an engine swap on newer minis.....is it difficult?

Yes. Though it has been heavily upgraded since then by ourselves, including the head-unit and new stack dials.
