I recently bought my ZT 260 a couple of weeks ago. Chassis number 469. I absolutely love her and she's my dream car too. She has a superb history and I've already done some light work on her, including rear light gaskets, front brake pads, new front grill badge, new mats, and a fake rear air vent installation, in place of the cubby blanking plate. She drives brilliantly...for now 😂 I hope I can enjoy her for the next year or so, but chances are I'll probably fall out of love with it too and sell it on, just like yourself. Here's hoping you get a good price for yours, she moves to a new home who will keep her on the road, and all the best for your future projects! Looking forward to seeing them! 😊👍

An extremely fair price for a v8 needing minor work. Tbh you summed it all up, and it's probably why I'd never own one. It's a great shame we never saw the kv8 or the tvr spec rover v8 into them. Can you imagine a rover 75 with a modern tweeked rover v8 in it. Modern fueling system, modern gear boxes to match, thry couldn't have kept them on the fore court.

I really wanted a 260 as I saw it as the ultimate MGR car ( SV aside) but the novelty soon wore off what with the mediocre performance and shocking fuel consumption. These sould all have had a supercharger fitted from the factory and probably the 4v engine as well. I'm sure it will sell quickly at that price Rob.

Can you get some decals on it for a fake bee keeping business? This will enable you to put signs in the back saying 'caution 30,000 bees inside'. No thief has got time for 30,000 bees so it will never get broken into, the basic animal fear of bees will work its magic to comic effect. "Beards and Bee Hives" will suffice as a faux brand, you can also claim to be established in something silly like 1873 and embroider the company 'fakelore' with branding for many bee services, for example, hive maintenance, worker bee training, pest control, queen bee logistics and so on. Just add a few hexagons to the graphic design and create a vehicle that no sane person would ever dare enter.

Nice insight. Nice to see the grass cut, quite bleached. I've been to a few where the grass was really deep and you couldn't see what you were driving over or into. not good when your car is low on the ground. Weather can play a big part as POL shows. Enjoyed the video.

I had the devils own job to find some front shocks for my 260. I eventually found someone in the owners club who had some. faced with the probability of needing more obselete parts. I let it go to a new home.
