After that would be have you modified the trigger pack with any aftermarket components? If so, that will probably be the root cause

@TnSteyr no it's all stock, was just working prior. I did notice when I install the trigger pack the sear gets engaged and I have to recock to continue install. Is my trigger bar not tuned right causing the non reset?

Gutentight is NOT safe and directly could lead to the very shit you caution about like breaking the bolt. So it is either a retarded amount of torque using a special vice and tool (which most people would accept as a valid reason worthy of the caution and to seek an Armorers aid) or, you are deliberately aiding in or complacent with the damaging of hard to repair components.

@TnSteyr I purchased a nylon holster from Barsony. For the XD. It fit. But only issue is where the belt goes through the "slits" after time they fold back behind the holster. 😢. The should have used a backer like kydex or even leather. I open carry everywhere. But being on the tractor is rough on the holster due to sides of the seat. Bergara is a very good starting point . After that it all depends on what you're trying to do with it there's a bunch of factory guns that are great or you can build yourself a full custom
