Thank you
He bumped quite a few up into the wall and got away with it due to what looked like favoritism by NASCAR. Otherwise, he was a very capable driver and obviously could win a lot. Was he the GOAT? I'd say not - not when compared to David Pearson (best win percentage), Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, or Richard Petty.
Jeff Gordon a better driver than Dale? Say less. 🙄
The E-Type is actually far more beautiful in person than in video/pictures!
Jimmy Johnson would have won any if dale sr. Was still there, sorry johnson fans.
They probably banned the Hemi because some rich and powerful guy lost too much money from bets/gambling. The 1969 dodge charger is my dream car, and I love all the other B body cars from its time as well. I can’t wait to own one. And of course I dream of a 426 under the hood.
If the sport lost fans due to unfairness from too much power or aerodynamics, try going all electric this sport will DIE completely.
Electric cars are junk will never buy one even if free
Stellantis & NASCAR are going to go completely bankrupt, due to this "mandated electrification" horseshit...
🎉🎉🎉🎉
there will naver be no one like him
RAISE HELL PRAISE DALE
Nascar Died with him. It became a participation trophy sport
I can go down to the local track, jump into a street stock race and quickly become the most feared driver on the track. Doesn't make me a good driver. Never understood why Earnhardt always got a pass on that. Cult of personality I suspect.
There aint no good drivers, only bad. Even the driver with the most wins ever has completely ate shit upside down and out. Danica was pretty good at indy, completely shit the bed in nascar. So is she a good driver or bad? For that chick it clearly depends on downforce lol. So if your talking about fidly fuck Italian perfect turn style driving, yeah dale was terrible, but if we are talking about getting in a nascar and running people off the road at 200mph while still making the same turns, sometimes passing in the damn grass, then yeah he was pretty good, better than you'll ever be at the local track
But can you maintain control of your car going 200 mph with one hand because you're giving someone the finger? 😂 Earnhardt, love him or hate him, was one of kind. He had car control like no other. The man could probably see the wind. The respect he gets is well deserved.
Hey man! How do i contact you.
Bro sounds like Ted Nivison
Excellent. Thanks for this tribute to the absolute legend, Dale Earnhardt!
sales would have been much better if there was an automatic Viper. Manual transmissions have no place in a real performance car. No real racer wants a manual. And the costs of throwing away the slow manual trans and adapting an automatic add to an already expensive car. Especially when NOT using bias ply tires, a manual will always lose to an automatic when the light gets green. Nothing beats a torque converter launch at the drag strip.
My unpopular opinion is he could drive a racecar fast but couldn't race by other cars without wrecking them half the time
After 1984, Richard Petty, stopped winning NASCAR races thank to Dale Sr.
Jeff Gordon's crew chief, Ray Evernham, told Jeff DO NOT ever mess with the #3 car.
The best there was the best there is .rip dale .that's all I got 2say bout that
Best of British old boy ching ching bottoms up down the hatch gin and tonics all round.
Live by the sword die by the sword.
Dale was someone who if you wouldn't let him win he would just wreck or beat your car up for you.his attitude eventually killed him. his son is my favorite driver.just my opinion.
Spoken like someone who has no clue. Dale died in probably the only race he wasn't trying to win.
¡Masterful…BRAVO!!!
Specifically enzo was looking at the unveiling of the series 1 coupe on day 1 of the 1961 auto show, and jaguar was so unprepared the roadster didn't make it until day 2,at which point Enzo was gone..the most misquoted statement in automotive history, perpetuated by series lll auto a/c roadster owners.
The real drift king and first to master it was Curtis turner …..
Dale Earnhardt will always be the GOAT. The man was as fearless behind the wheel as he was talented. Respected by his peers and beloved by the fans.
He was the best racer I ever.
A DEAD HAS BEEN WHO TOOK OUT SEVERAL GOOD CARS FOR A STUPID MOVE
Live by the sword, die by the sword.
Electric cars 🤮🤮🤮 suck’s

Today the E type is seen through rose tinted glasses. When new the first E types ran on crossply tires, had rubbish brakes, poor headlights and overheated. The gearbox was pre historic with no syncro on first or reverse gears and the seats were hard and uncomfortable. It sold solely on looks.
In 1961 most cars on the road had crossply tyres, far worse brakes, dim bulbs and crash boxes - many boxes up to recent times didn't have syncro on reverse. They also didn't have a 6-pot engine which had won at Le Mans, looked like a space ship and were priced way below anything remotely competitive. If you want to judge cars on modern metrics, run the same rule over an equivalent sports car of the era, with cart springs, wheezy pushrod engines, separate chassis. Simple fact is your faulty analysis applies to the lot of them.
spoken truly like someone who wished he had one, but can't afford it! 😂
My ‘E’ is a 1960 Sprite. It’s built like a D type.
NOT all NASCAR drivers feared him.
Besides Ricky Rudd name 1..
Never was an Earnhardt fan, But, you could not deny his impact on a sport. I watched him throughout most of his career and quite often, The main question after the race was where did Earnhardt finish and how did everybody else stack up.
I wonder why ferrari is so racist against American car companies at least ford kicked ferrari's asses
22 years ago since we lost Dale. Time flies.
I was a kid when he died. It crushed me. I wanted to be a Nascar driver. All I ever wanted. He was the reason. After he died. I couldn't even watch it anymore. I watched jr win his 1st 500. And I was done after that
@@michiganpride389 Yeah i was a kid too. I didn't watch for about 2 years or something. And i always went to a local shorttrack and i didn't even do that.
@@fredschriks8554 I used to have a pretty cool side hustle singing the national anthem for my local dirt track /midget/modified races from the time I was a teenager.. I still did that up until a few years ago. But after this race. When I got done. Instead of staying and watching with my free tickets as a performer. I just packed my stuff and left
@fredschriks8554 I was in middle school... I tried to become a junior fan afterwards.. I couldn't watch a race until they made it back to Daytona and jr won the July race... and even then it was only periodically after that... crazy to think how much someone you have never met or spoken to could impact your life
He was the most feared driver because if you wrecked him nascar find YOU.
This guy will always be my Superman!!! Miss ya Big E!!!
the e-type is simply a piece of art - I see Eagle Uk cars are film in. Congratulation
This youtube chanell is a Hidden GOLD! Keep up the Grind my g
Nobody can deny Earnhardt's legacy and natural skill as a driver. But we have to face facts here. He was a dirty low down driver and a bully. No two ways about it. NASCAR let him get away with murder for 2 decades. Now I don't wish illl on anyone but it was almost like it was poetic justice that he went out in a race car. Atonement for all the dirty crap he pulled over the years if you will. But at the same time I honestly don't think there was any other way Earnhardt wanted to leave this earth than behind the wheel of a race car. Regardless of his tactics which I never liked I knew how important he was to the sport of NASCAR. And he in many ways will always be the embodiment of NASCAR racing.
