It’s always an experience listening him live vs his radio shows/podcast (which are also superb btw, but the scope is definitely different). You can only have a glimpse of what the real draw until being there! Definitely a force of nature!

From around 55:00 minutes-56:00 minutes, until the end of the video, is insane. So well-crafted. Most DJs could play the same songs, in the same order and, I guarantee you, it would eventually sound redundant. I’m grateful that I realize what a special talent PvD is. Thankfully, he lived through that awful tragedy when he fell off the stage at ASOT…just think, this video wouldn’t exist if there was another outcome. Love this guy. 🤟 Let’s get a tracklistttt!! 🤣🤣

Activa - Remember, from 2008. Paul plays many older tracks nowadays, mostly Vandit classics. If you go to 1:32:50 you will hear also another Vandit classic “Reverse - Distant Destiny”

It was absolutely perfect, this man has a very deep connection with his fans, but the coincidence here is that about 3/4 of the people in this small club were people from Brighton, after an away win for their team, and moreover Norman is like a God for them. So, you get what I'm saying.

I saw them in London in 1991, during The Robots, whilst all the Robots were on stage, I was surveying the crowd, I like to look behind me and see the faces, I was just right of the stage near the front, and a guy looked at me and pointed just beyond me. And standing there watching his Robot was Florian! He looked at me smiled a little conspiratorial smile, put his finger to his lips “sshh” and then disappeared back into the crowd. Hardly anyone around us noticed. It’s a truly treasured memory.
