Yeah, that's a great idea 🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍
I too am not using most of my tape measure.
Honestly, I would love more videos of these little tricks with ubiquitous tools from all manner of crafts....like, stuff like this gets lost when its not shared. And it keeps people from exploring crafts since they dont get the thing thats obvious to tradesman. Of course, there is also the type that dont share this stuff for 'job security' .... because that worked out great for the practical effects and movie model building industries... But seriously, I freaking love learning these little tricks. So many tool with features that are obviously for something.....but no one who knows talks about it.... TRADESMEN PLEASE INFO DUMP YOUR TRICKS!!!!!
Why do you set the gauge and then instantly move the speed square away?
Because we're using the speed square as a track by running the saw up the side and we want to cut off as little extra wood as possible.
@@JandKCarpentryBros oh I see what's happening now, thanks 🙏🏻
Be right back. Googling stair gauge.
Can you explain the difference between a finish carpenter and a regular carpenter
Here’s a trick I bet no one‘s ever shown you. What does that mean the end of my life if I don’t have this information? And two you said everybody and there’s like 8 billion people in the world. How do you know all of them think the same way you do about what you just said about a speed square?
Trailer Park Boys vibes....
Dope im gonna build triangles
As long as the wood is straight you buy but it’s never straight
Yeah we're very picky what buy when it comes to lumber. It only needs to be straight at 8 inches. Though sometimes that's to much to ask for.
HOW MUCH?!?!
I used a speed square to build my brother in law's golf cart Tow Mator. Look for it at dirt tracks he follows #32 Bobby Pierce. It shoots water from its front teeth, does wheelies AND burnouts.
Yes. Been a long time
Yeah it's one of the best screwdrivers I have in my toolbox. It's a shame it fell out of popularity.
You guys lack the skill and knowledge to be teaching anyone anything. Please stop, you are doing a disservice to your society.
A 60 second video told you all that, huh? Not sure Evel Knievel could have made that leap. Thanks for your support.
It’s sad we no longer value quantity and ingenuity
So true.
I don't find the marks are as accurate as a framing square.
I love your channel! You have taught me a few things, thanks.
Thanks
No problem
Thank you so much.. so so much.. 😄
Most welcome 😊
Please be done spamming this bullsh*t already. What the f*ck?!?!?!?!?! Make this a single video and upload it then.
Live streams automatically upload. Be mad at CZcams?
Wow!!!
Yeah, if your working with large space that has room to accommodate this tool, it’s definitely a nice tool that should be in a museum
شكرًا لك ❤
Genial 💡 🏅 🤝 Rodrigo 🖊️
Inches...sheesh.
Guys got 6 pencils on his "toolbelt"
We’re can we buy it
It’s called a Yankee screwdriver. Used on for many years. Still have one but kept it for memories. 40 year contractor
Yes, and I have two of them
Waoooooo really!🤣
Yankee screw driver when I was a kid. I have a couple of them.
Total trash. He could've done it in one shot with proper scribing.
Hate math? Not possible!
That was a long drawn out way to get to that conclusion.
I don't think the one you have is from the 1800's though
True but you would be shocked how little they have changed.
Elwood Blues used one to open the elevator control in the movie the Blues Brothers.
I thought he was measuring the angle the house came down on
Nice. Thanks 😂
I really need one of these...all i have is a speed L
Ive got one of these i inherited from mu father. Never used it though 😂
I need one now
Didn't see the last video this refers to. Bit I get to see THIS video. Great stuff guys
Nice!
I have my great grandfather's. It's smaller, but it works great
I've seen it before, or at least knew about.
Thanks bros bring us along!
I’ve got one it’s called , ( A dam Yankee screwdriver )
Why do I always expect you to end your videos by telling us to keep it wet?
No comments😢 But, I thank you for taking your subscribers along for the ride
Well we had plenty of comments during the stream. Thanks for your concerns bro! Also thanks for joining us.
