Stéphen Delattre

Stéphen Delattre is regularly invited to diverse events worldwide as an international choreographer, jury and a guest teacher. Since 2012, Delattre has been a successful Artistic Director and the Resident Choreographer of the Delattre Dance Company in Mainz (Germany). In addition to the full ballet evenings he organises and choreographs, Delattre also calls on talented and prestigious contemporary guest choreographers. In so doing, his objective is to challenge the motivated and inspired members of the Delattre Dance Company to open their bodies, minds and hearts to a provocative frontier between movement and feelings. In 2021, Stéphen Delattre was recognised by the French government, as "Chevalier de l'ordre des Arts et des Lettres". Since 2022, also Stéphen Delattre has created with his business partner, Martin Opelt, a junior ensemble working in collaboration with the Delattre Dance Company: The Evolution Dance Platform.

"Next Steps 24" was premiered in Mainz, in collaboration with the Delattre Dance Company and under the artistic direction of Stéphen Delattre.
This production presents choreographic works from Michel Béjar, Brian Scalini, Harris Gkekas, Pedro Lozano Gomez and Stéphen Delattre.
Special thanks to all the dancers involved in this program for their hard work and to all the choreographers for sharing their creativities.
