Hi Aditya , I am not aware of that Since I am from SDE background , try checking career portal of they have roles or not. Their interview process might be different than SDE

I badly want to work for atlassian (awesome work culture). I don't want to switch to sde, as I love data related work and want to continue in this. If you know anyone who is working as a data scientist, would love hear out how to prepare for the same. At least what kind of data science related problems that atlassian is trying to solve. I will create projects related to that in order to prove that i know their pain points and will help them solve it.

Yes there are companies like Compass , Confluent , Indeed , Coinbase ( No longer hiring ). I would advice have some good brand name first which can help you to get more interviews easier .

Mostly SDE1 would be applicable , companies are always try to save money on their end. If you want to target for SDE-2 , 2 years and above would be the right time to start applying for SDE-2 roles. There are companies like Flipkart which allows interview for SDE-2 from 1.10 years above but they would have to be convinced that you are able to crack the interview.

It really depends on which company you are applying to and which role you are applying to , if you can let me know these two things , then I can help you

I know about virtual interviews , where tech rounds happen in 1 day and bar raiser and HM round happens in 2nd day , however it completely depends on the availability of the HM and bar raiser which is not predictable , ask your recruiter if the interviewers have accepted the time and date of the interview round if you are going to amazon office just for the interview. I have not seen amazon reimburse travelling to amazon office for just the interview , but I may be wrong

Anyone who has CS degree and experience can interview with them , you just need to reach out to the recruiter and convince them that you can clear the interview . Try to apply to their career portal or cold email recruiter

Generally they would not expect someone with less knowledge of system design but you are expected to know the popular frameworks that can be used like flask or nginx for backend. Whatever your tech stack is with their pros and cons and very basic design skills like how much one server can serve how many users , etc.
