Ok….i was born in 1988. When the original Spider-Man came out with Tobey Maguire it was the coolest thing ever. Then the 2nd movie came out and it was as good (maybe even better) than the first one. Everyone in these comments are ranking them. And you can. Andrew Garfield’s were not bad at all. I actually enjoyed them because Andrew did a great job and plus he had Emma Stone to help his franchise. Tom Holland is great as well. He has the awkward charm of Peter Parker. I know this is long…but Tom had the benefit of hanging more money and the Avengers with him especially Stark. Andrew had literally nothing except a B team writing for him but I did like him as Peter. Tobey had literally come from scratch with a director who was known for doing horror movies. They brought Tobey, two up and coming actors in Dunst and Franco into the mix. Brought on the coolest Willem Dafoe to be the villain. Oh and an actor who won an Oscar JK Simmons who was the publisher at the paper. Early 2000s. Anyone who says the original Spider-Man movies aren’t the best is delusional. They were ground breaking and fantastically done
