For anyone wondering, it's also illegal to blast your trimmings into the street. It's a massive safety hazard for traffic, specifically motorcycles, who very easily lose traction on debris littered roads. Grass is notorious. Also dirt and lose gravel, pine needles, leaves etc.

Residential lawn clippings might have weed spray , herbicide spray on lawn to kill weed. Not a good idea, if farmers animals start dropping like flies one by one. Then you might have a lawsuit for damages to replace their livestocks. You don't know what other lawncare company besides yours has sprayed on the grass and weed.

Cattle can safely consume fresh grass clippings as long as they do so within 8 hours of mowing.

I feed my horses my grass clippings. The thing is that you have to feed them when it's cut.

One of our previous homes had this fencing and it was atrocious... It does not really offer any privacy and is impossible to string trim. The idea that shadow box fencing "lets wind pass through" is a myth. Every shadow box fence blows over just as easily as regular fencing every tropical system/hurricane.

I see other lawns around my neighborhood and think "really they pay other people to mow for them.". One said "yeah I work hard and pay others to do it because i make more than enough to pay other to do it." Like sure I'm glad you pay others to do it. Yet when I see a lawn get over 4 or 5 inches I'm thinking "I bet they charge extra if it gets taller than than that." I never asked that question but 5 or 10 years ago I did ask "how much is it to cut my lawn." Guy said $75. I bet now it's like $125. Hell one season on one yard I'm sure they nearly pay off a mower in a year. I'm sure y'all make a pretty penny. Been mowing our lawns for my self and my mother for nearly 25 to 30 years now.

The tall grass could be weedwacked down to half height. Wouldn't take but 5 maybe 10 minutes for that front lawn then come back in 3 or 4 or 5 days and mow it. Quite simple.

Grass looks like it hasn't been cut for over a month. Looks too heavy for lawnmower. Looks more like a cut hayfield.

Consider one more tool. A hand winch (come-along) would require digging under the roots, but it would add some ease to the "easy" in your headline. Are you taking down the tree also? Removing so many primary roots puts the tree and your house at risk of damage from high winds.

Great job. My concern is that you just cut the tree's nutrient source and water. I have cut roots strategically that were a problem. You cut some major roots that anchor the tree. My guess is that you just killed the tree. Welcome to the house of cards. You may save some money but you still need an arborist to check it. Hopefully you don't live in Texas or where there are high winds. Your house is your biggest investment. Stay safe.❤
