I posted before the story finished. Thank you for bringing the emotions and realities of war to life, and death. I got a lump in my throat there. Your story telling is up there with Wolfpack, SorcererDave and TaffinExile. Lastly, and I know I have said this before - if you want to branch out into adding more life to your process I'll gladly lend my British voice for free. My American accent is awful, though, even though I've lived in the US for the best part of twenty years!

Hi! Unfortunately I dont use discord. There is a setting I use everytime to export a video in mp4. When exporting choose advanced and on the Video tab choose colour range: "Full" (JPEG), scan mode: "Progressive", no need to touch the rest of the default settings on this tab. Then go to the codec tab and choose Rate control: "Constant Bitrate", Bitrate: "80M" and rest of the settings you can leave as they are. Now click export file and you should have a very good quality mp4 coming out.

I commend you for waiting for the sales, it is still not the complete product if you want to fly on your own unfortunately. They will update the single player career mode in due course, but the multiplayer side is very live and kicking :)

Hi! Thank you for your comment! I use a combination of career mode and the easy mission generator + mission editor. The range of mission types in the vanilla career mode is rather monotonous and would be rather dull making videos of basically the same mission again and again.

I use Shotcut, it maybe on the "crude" side when it comes to editing software and some of the tools/features are "reverse" to what commercial editing software does. But it does have most if not all of the bells and whistles, it's free, opensource and with an active community that will help you out when you hit a hard spot. Think of it as a GIMP of the video editing software :) It is prefectly capable of 60fps if your recording software and system specs are up to it when capturing a video. I thought my set up was super but there are occasional stutters when capturing IL2 video on UHD with 60 fps. Don't know whether to blame it on the recording software, the game itself or the software running in the background. Have not bothered to look into it too much, I'll just go around the problems if there are any. @@hexpert6043

@@felder2471Thanks, I will test it, I use geforce experience to capture and haven’t experienced any problems. Well, a 30 minutes video can have a weight of 10GB at 1080p 50kbs, but its quality is very good. I was glad to talk to you about this since I'm just starting out and any information from an expert is welcome.

I agree, but I guess not all tales have a happy ending. I bet the allied career has a better survival rate though

Thank you for your comment, it was sad to let that character go, but it was a promise I made to my self and to the viewers that I felt I had to respect. If the pilot dies undue to bad AI or some other program based issue I would need to honour that ending. The same applies to this series as well.

Fair point and I would, but dont know if there is a way in the game to do that. I've registered the game with the name Felder and it is the registered name the game gives out with the results, not the career characters. I could do it in post production though.
