Dark Ambient - Apocalypse City
The world has ended. Mankind is only an echo now. The former cities stand as a monument to megalomania, like skeletons in the distance. But could new life arise from the omnipresent death? Feel free to fathom this yourself. Have fun listening.

Dark Ambient - Abandoned Spaceship
zhlédnutí 36KPřed 3 lety
A creepy ambience, inspired by many well-known horror science fiction movies and games. Enjoy hours in an abandoned spaceship... maybe you are not as alone as you think... Remember in space no one hears you scream. Have fun listening.

This is the commercial towing vehicle Nostromo out of the Solomons. Registration number 180924609 calling Antarctica Traffic Control. Do you read me? Over.
Gorgeous visual and nice audio but this would be WAAAY more realistic and creepy if there were so much less going on sound-wise. Right now it’s like a video game’s start menu page that keeps recycling - there’s too much stimuli to be immersive on its own. I would literally pare down the sonic activity 95%. Maybe do a remix, pretty please??😬
Abandon ship with two voices? Otherwise fairly nice. Good to sleep by, or sound effect. Alien.
The only two 'voices' are an AI and seemingly an alien.
*Text log found in a corridor* "Whoever finds this, be quiet! Something inhuman is aboard the ship. I don't know what it is but it triggered a lockdown on this deck, and whatever it is, it's listening for us. Almost half of my crew are missing or dead and whatever killed them, did it violently. I'm gonna try to find another way to the ship's upper decks and figure out just wtf is going on but STAY QUIET!" *End of log*
Hi there! Absolutely love this track. Is there any way I can buy a license, or get permission to use this in a video game?
hi, a simple mention is enough :P greetings
This reminds me very much of the original dead space with the ambience on the usg ishimura
"Sir, there's something moving in here and it ain't us!"
One of the many corridors of the one and only Nostromo.
*little ghost crying* Space Ranger#3: Hello? Little ghost Girl: Help Me…. Space Ranger#3: Hello???
it is free sound ?
*woman crying* Space Ranger#1: Did you hear that? Space Ranger#2: Here what Lieutenant? Space Ranger#1: Sounds like a woman crying.
Homer: Hey where is everybody?
*banging* Scout: Who’s there?? Is somebody there??
"Listen, you ever notice how they never come down here? I mean this is where the work is, right?"
The ship was abandoned for years.... Yet still functions but the AI was utterly insane, not to mention the biological hazard wandering around.
One can only be sorry for this biological hazard in a non-bio world.
Ready your weapons and light sources. Be sure to record significant findings for our debriefing reports. We will have to rendezvous in a large area.
the idea it self creepy you wondering what happened there and now they want us to live on Mars ....no thanks I watch enough Sci fi horror movies
Scout: Uh hello? anybody in here? hello hellooo?
We’re on the USG Ishimura
Remind me to Dead Effect
Dead Space mixed with Mass Effect? As if Reapers wouldn't be bad enough...
Love the sound :)
"Screw HQ and screw this mission! We need to get the hell out of this ship, whatever they dug up from that planet down below, it's caused all this!"
I like to put this on when playing Nemesis with my pals, it's a good'un.
This reminds me of being inside the Imperial Star Destroyer “Vector” from the Star Wars novel Death Troopers, where the entire ship is infected of a virus and dies, and when a boarding party arrives they find the ship empty, with no sign of its 37,000 crew onboard. They wander the empty hallways, with lights flickering. It’s really ominous but I like it a lot.
@The smoker they became something like zombies but worst.
@@kellysondesterroaguiar4570 That’s all I needed to hear, time to pack up and start slaughtering zombies again. Bout to “dead space” up in this bitch lol
@The smoker the air...
Gives me Dead Space vibes. Sometimes it's better to just blow up a derelict space ship than hope to find some treasures onboard. Or survivors...
@@Jokester1990-ri3jl well these zombies are intelligent and can use weapons

I really need to know where does those AI talking come from
Yeah… Imma go walk around in there
*There's an audio log next to a pool of dried blood* "To anyone who finds this: I smashed the security panel on this side of the door and rigged it to keep the door shut no matter what, I don't want to think how many souls I've condemned by doing so, but there was no other way. Those things are out there wreaking havoc but somehow they haven't triggered any lockdowns, how the fuck is that possible? I'm on my way to the bridge, surely I can manually activate a lockdown and launch a distress beacon from there. I just hope I make it in time..."
Me: The fuck killed these people...? *walks back out as I try to look for weapons, sticking to the shadows as I slowly walk*
Log 27: December sunday14th 2202, I have been roaming this desolated husk of a planet for over 20 years, every step I take towards any direction is a step into what I hope won't be madness. Last time I saw a life form it was eating uranium straight from a tank. Yes, you heard right *Uranium* that radioactive material that was used to power our cities into future and launch rich countries into space. Now only Iand a small settlement of people remain on the planet in hopes of one day finding a safe place to call "Paradise" or at the very least "home". If I die and you are listening to this, please bury this recording under a tree with the inscription "Here lies Rupert, a man who longed for a family"
..it started with what looked like ordinary quarantine of some vissitors...then they turned bad...armed security became a staple for the medbays... then...it turned worse...things started to gnaw ther way inside.. in hindsight it was obvious ,the visitors cargo ,the recently disturbed local panetoid... dident matter wich , where ever there was a blind spot...things.. started to crawl ther way inside... the arc personal was not slow ,they shored up the hard points... was it to late ?...or did the things simply outwitt them ? who knows....the onboard records is as spoty like the partly fragmented onboard AI's still broadcasting communications in responses to echo's in ther own networks from the last years of ruthless back and forth fighting as even children where drafted taught to help the engineering teams to secure and try re-power a complete point defense grid around the arc...to seal of every ventelation duct not defended ..every bulkhead not secured... as command razed trying to outthink the ever changing ..things.. from claiming any more of the arc...already baracks and dormatories ones teaming with activety become cold dark mold filled nightmares from wich it kept coming... and always... the guns betrayed more trying to find blind spots from the outside... in the end the echo's they responds to through mold filled vaults and spore hazzy hallways... is not of adults ,but children along side half broken drones and the sound of grenades..
nice! how about a dark forest one?
We don't need see it to know it is watching at us. Stalking at us. Hidden in the shadows. We don't need to see it to know that the spaceship it's not complete abandoned. But going back may be worse than keep walking. Really, really, really amazing audioscape! Congrats, I can't stop listening this.
This gives me ALIEN Isolation vibes
"We have get off this ship, something is hunting us..."
Apparently, the ship is now located in 3rd Space ... the space between spaces.
I swear, this looks like the ship , The Nostromo or one of the hallways from Alien Isolation!! I have expected (to see) a Xenomorph walking down the corridor! Lol
that is the nostromo lol
A Databank Log about Terror Troopers from Star Wars the Force Unleashed 2 that is somewhat fitting. "Transmission from suspected privateer vessel 'Band Light' (intercepted): We found a derelict Etti-class drifting near Ord Mantell. Initially, we thought we were lucky. After the mess with the last job, seemed like a free piece of floating booty was just what the galaxy owed us. Turned out it wasn't lucky at all. Nix, my second, got himself on the wrong side of an airlock. Vacuum did a real good job on him. Wasn't much left when we got him aboard. Dumb way to go for an experienced fringer. It was even worse for Red. A corridor collapsed near life support and a length of pipe impaled him to a wall. Doesn't explain why he was eviscerated, but accidents happen. Then there was Pend. He was checking out a ventilation shaft near the galley. I've heard of smugglers stashing stuff there, where the freezers mess up scanners. He was beheaded... messily too. Something must have dislodged up high, fallen and... That was it. I pulled everyone off that ship. And, if all this wasn't bad enough, now our ship has developed problems. Doors open when no one's there. Lights blink off. I hope we didn't catch a computer virus off that dead ship".
It sure sounds creepy enough.
i had a multi speaker sound system in my bedroom years ago, with subs...now with these youtube vids i might have to put a system back in. I almost forget what it was like before the internet (let alone youtube), we have it so easy now.
Dr Evil- Right... "abandoned "
[Recon Team, UESV Raven, Hyades cluster] Initial assessment/personal observations: Station not responding to interstellar communications, all in stellar hails met with static. Supply ships in the previous month reported no usual traffic. Ship to investigate reason for communications blackout. (Recon team leader, 2nd LT. Veers) So we're an hour out. Brass sent us out here to found why no one answering the phones out there. They're definitely not taking chances, sent a frigate, my team plus a company of Marines. Someone must be expecting trouble, then again, most are engineers and mechanics. Could be just a broken comm line, down satellites, or a misaligned array. My two squads(one fireteam, one comm team, and an engineer team) will be first over if the station doesn't respond to close calls or signal lights. Long-range scans don't reveal much, will know soon why they ain't responding.
Soooooo.... You're writing a story for the rest of this, right? Right????
[Hyades cluster, Near plantoid [Redacted], UESV Raven; 1450 ET (Earth Time), 1947 CT (Cluster Time)] - Recon Team Leader 2nd Lt. Veers, Hanger bay: Captain just put out the call for my team to head out over to the station. Bridge tried hailing, and flashing starboard lights for over an hour, everything just short of smoke signals; not even a flicker from any of the frequencies. Got a look from the deck, and nothing looks out of ordinary, Captain did a sweep for any ships, escape pods, or wreckage and damage; All clean and the station is intact. Hell, I could see the landing bay across from us, and the everything looks to be in order, long-range optics shows everything where it should be. A thermal scan didn't shed anymore light on the situation; reactor is intact and running. Everything seems fine...only thing wrong is nobodies home. Squad's here time to get over there and find out what's going on.
[Inside Station Esquires, 2107 CT] - Recon team leader 2nd Lt. Veers reporting: Phone guys (Comm team) just finished setting up relay beacon and hardwiring it into the station senor net, seems we were right in sending an engineer team along for the ride. Senors, environmental, even layout markers are offline, can't even download a map to guide us. Intercom is offline too, so no way to contact anybody still on station, not that I hold out hope. I've been on ships, almost my entire career, served on shuttles to frigates like the Raven to the top of the line battleships, nearly 2km long. They all had one thing in common; every deck crew was order to not leave docking clamps in forward position, it blocks access for landing ships. I've seen court marshals over this, mass firings for it too so whatever happened was bad enough that the docking crew left them out....Made the fireteam set up senor mine on all doors leading here, on the vents and maintenance access tunnels too. Captain back on the Raven thinks I'm being paranoid, told him "all due respect sir, kiss my ass". I'll take the demonation if it means all we find is the entire station's occupants locked in the mess hall. Most of the team backed me, XO sent private communications that the captain just needed to note it. Air's getting stale, grease monkey's got to get the filtration back online before we run out of breathable oxygen. Sending half of each team out to find it, hopefully, nothing goes wrong but what scares me? what I said about the docking leaving the clamps out? there is no sign of anyone, no tools left behind, no blood, no bodies, nothing. What the hell happened here? Veers Out.
[Inside Station Esquires, 2244CT] - Recon team leader 2nd Lt. Veers reporting: Recon team only got to the section cross doors before they had to turn back. Sargent said, it was because the doors were sealed, heavily. Way the cams described it was like whoever was on the opposite said ripped a section out of the station and wielded over the whole door. Sent what we've recovered so far back to the Raven and for more men and cutting tools. Said for the Captain to send word back to command; he told me to eat shit. Doesn't want to scrambling half the fleet for a outbreak or something else. We're getting the docking bay up and running in the mean time, tapping into reserve power and back-up gennys. Everyone still got masks on, till the scan of the O2 is finished. Maverick said he heard some on the way back. Locked down the hall just in case. Veers out.
[Inside Station Esquires, 0522 CT] - Recon team leader 2nd Lt. Veers reporting: O2 report shows only usual stuff in the air, but everyone choose to keep masks on. We set up the equipment to cut through the blockade, advance team went in...Nothing. No bodies, barricades beyond, blast marks, not even a dropped bolt. What the hell? Digger found a working comm terinmal, managed to sync with the stations internal relay managed to call the main security, reactor, maintenance, even the Mess Hall. No reply. She's digging through the old logs, they're corrupted but she said she could 'uncorrupt' them, letting her have at it. We secured the connection and locked down the entry way. Put a call back to the Raven, haven't heard back. Odd...Veers out.
Simply beautiful sounding. Subscribed.
Damn this is so cool I'm gonna try to fall asleep listening to it this night
youre insane. So creepy
This is an S.O.S. distress call from the mining ship Red Dwarf. The crew are dead, killed by a radiation leak. The only survivors were Dave Lister, who was in suspended animation during the disaster, and his pregnant cat, who was safely sealed in the hold. Revived three million years later, Lister's only companions are a life-form who evolved from his cat, and Arnold Rimmer, a hologram simulation of one of the dead crew.
