Enjoying watching your vids and making me want to get a proper fruity sound on my new RS 😀 as bike doesn't feel complete without that sort of soundtrack. Only thing is I got an extended warranty thrown in with mine, you've had no issues from changing the exhaust ? I'm a bit paranoid the ECU might hold some info of running it without the cat if I need to claim in future
Thanks for watching and commenting! The bike has had no issues whatsoever although I’ve just found out it’s due to get its recall for the valve retainers, but didn’t come up on the website when I looked previously. Going in for its second service this week but the bike has been fantastic.
Hey man, I hope you are having a good time I wanted to ask Is there any way to get a full system with catalytic converter
With a cat? I don’t think so. Spark do a full system that’s homologated for road use though. We don’t have emissions tests for bikes in the uk, but appreciate in california for example, they’re hot on that? I’d probably just leave it standard if it that was the case. Too much hassle or I’d just move! 😂
Too tall for a 5’6” guy either 29” inside leg? I used to ride a Duke 690 no issues.
You can be 5’6 and have a long body and short legs though… it’s a rough estimate, that’s all.. anyone under 5’5 Just might find a struggle 😉👍
What a fantastic peice of engineering ooohhh and that sound , good for another 22 years 👍👍👍
Agreed! Think these bikes were over engineered really for their purpose, but they’re certainly standing the test of time Or perhaps just engineered properly! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! 😎
Great vid, the flapping donkey ears are my favourite thing!!
Yeah, unfortunately donkey didn’t make it all the way home in one piece! He was off his face at the end… you’ll see that in the penultimate episode! I get to make another as I was a day getting home after returning back to base (it was horrendous on the way back!) - Sorry we never got to see you off, we had a defaulted satellite navigation issue!
I bet them beers went down well once you got there 🙂 the food sounds amazing!😛
Yeah, the beers at the hotel on arrival didn’t touch the sides! The food in that smoke house was AMAZING!! As I said… food heaven! 👌👍😎🍻
Another awesome episode mate 🤩👍🍻
Thanks mate, you’re too kind! Hope the latest trip is going well, although you’ll be home again now by the time you read this! 😂👍😎
Awesome video! Gonna check out a few at my local dealer next week, it seems like the GSX-S750 is just so unpopular in the USA, the ones I'm looking at are 2023 and they've been sitting for close to 2 years now. If that was any other bike, it've been gone in a month or two. Hey, guess that means deals for me lmao ;)
Sounds good! Yeah I guess the rice rockets have the looks and kerb appeal over there but if you’re in to straight line performance, it could be geared to be good in a straight line if that’s your thing, it’s not a slow bike though ( check out my silverstone track video). It’s a great bike and quite underrated! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
Just a thought, I converted my Rapid Bike to a wide band sensor. Welded an extra sensor into the collector. I found that more fuel was needed in the low band this Helped with rough transition at low revs.
Yeah, sounds about right! You can fit a wide band sensor but I didn’t have one or the time to get it set up at the time of the dyno tune. The bike rarely spends time down in the low rev range when I’m out on it, but it would definitely help. It’s not exactly bad as it is and you wouldn’t really notice it without a dyno and a/f meter but worth it if you have one! Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍😎
Have the same bike, 2019 model. 30k miles, no issues so far. Fantastic bike.
Nice! Yeah, it’s a brilliant bike. Never had a single issue with any Suzuki I’ve had over the years. Probably explains why I’ve had so many! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
The 5th gen is aging nicely and still relevant. My favorite model years are 2000-2001. Just wonder why SO many folks still do not realize that it is a true gem.
Yeah, had a 1200 and a couple of V-TEC 800’s over the years but I really do think this one is the sweet spot. Just because it’s old, doesn’t mean it isn’t still gold! It’s 3rd of the price of the latest crop of sports tourers, Doesn’t have the latest gadgets but do you need them!?… thanks for watching. 👌😎
Do you have a tune on this setup?
Not in this video. Bike does now have rapid bike evo module fitted and had a custom tune. Separate videos on the channel of those.
Certainly looks the part, but does it reduce the spray all over ones back and the seat?
Not the seat and your back, but reduces the muck and crap going over the shock and reservoir. That was the biggest reason for fitting it.
50 up the tyre bagger is absolutely acceptable some of our busses struggle to do 20 up there 😂
Had 71 going down! 😂
I would bet most folk test ride the RS and not the R, myself included, but only because I ha already bought the RS. The R was designed for road riding, whilst the RS is more track biased with the premium kit. I got an RS for the same price as an R, otherwise it would have been an R for me
Yeah, both great in their own right. In part, I prefer the simplicity of the dash on the R over the RS, do like a bit of bling though so had to be the RS for me and for the colours available and especially for track days but if I wasn’t interested in those, the R is more than good bike. It’s also lovely in white. Thanks for watching.
Cant not like a Viffer, the V4 engine is sublime. Mine is a 2009 and its a silent missile when the Vtec kicks in. A Nitron rear shock combined with Andreani Evo fork cartridges has sorted the dated suspension and a bike I was considering selling is now a firm keeper. Did Le Mans MotoGP on her this year and she was simply faultless. Another good video, cheers
That sounds ace! Not had mine on track yet but id like to take it round for a laugh. I think it would be better suited to a longer smoother track like Donington though, Knockhill is closer but I think its weight would be a disadvantage there and cook the brakes a bit. That said, you never know and I’m no Valentino Rossi so I’m sure it would fine! Yeah, keep having notions of selling it but I wouldn’t get the money back I’ve invested and there’s something old school cool about it with bags of character i don’t think you get on a modern sports tourer so she’s not going anywhere! Thanks for watching!
Mate how did this compete with a 600 on track? I used to track an R6 but having test ridden this bike it feels a lot easier to ride fast than a bent over super sports bike. However, I couldn’t tell whether that’s just because I’m going slower due to the wind blast and more upright seat position. What do you think based on your track experience? Thanks
well… i’m quicker round knockhill and donington park on the 765 than i was on my Gsxr1000R. don’t get me wrong, GSXR was obviously faster up the straights, but the 765 is so much fun to ride and the corner speed you can carry and late turn in is awesome, it flatters your riding and encourages you to be a better rider and not rely on power for speed. Check out the Donington track day on the 765 where my mate is on his gsxr 1000R and i’m staying with him and catching him. it’s all about fun at the end of the day. if you raced a 600 you won’t have any problems! thanks for watching!
@@twistandgo3414really helpful thanks mate
I still have my 1999 VFR totally stock, 90,000 km on it, and it still goes like the wind and rides smooth as silk
They are a brilliant piece of engineering aren’t they!? mechanically, probably over engineered for a road bike, but that’s testament to its reliability and longevity! thanks watching and taking the time to comment.
Thanks for the video! I’m thinking of adding this on my 2022 GSX-S 750. I’m a bit concerned about that wire going out of the quick shifter and route it up nearby the engine. It gets hot around there and thinking the wire might somehow melt or damage itself due to heat. Am I overthinking it?? 😅 On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being advanced skills to install) it looks like a 3 or 4 .. would agree on my assumption?
No real issue with heat on the install for the wiring, doesn’t touch anything hot enough to be a problem. Fairly straight forward to install. if you can follow instructions and use basic tools, it’s easy enough. The hardest part is taking the bike apart to get to everything! if you’re competent doing that and getting to the ignition coils, you’ll breeze the rest of it, so on that basis i’d give it a 4 or 5 😂. 👍🏻😎
Quality looking carbon there mate - looks well smart .... might invest in some myself if the beer vouchers are available ... 😃
Yeah, TWISTANDGO10 at check out should still be available with #CarbonFBR. Looking to add a touch more myself soon 😁😎
@@twistandgo3414 thanks for that
Did you have to get a tune done
You don’t HAVE to, but it’s definitely running better than it was with just the auto tune on the rapidbike and also up on power.
Damn bike looks amazing
subtitles would be nice can understand nothing lol
You should be able to turn them on in CZcams settings.
Whats the window protection like mate with the fly screen?
Hmm… slightly better than without, I fitted it more for aesthetics than anything.
just to clarify then, spark headers + end can (mine is also Spark Evo) and a Rapid Tune Evo module (with self learn enabled) will be perfectly adequate for road riding, however, a dyno tune will give it a tweak and crisper response. Is that correct? I'm looking for good mid-range response rather than top end performance. Thanks
That’s it exactly mate. Ran perfectly well at Donington , but is better now for being fully tuned.
Thanks to share, could You tell me because i'm gona change my Hypermotard 950 for a Triumph street triple 755 RS i think it's a wonderfull bike , thank you for your coments
It is a wonderful bike. As an all round road and track package with flexibility to tour and use every day, it’s right up there with probably the best bike I’ve had.
Sounds lovely and looks good to. I was struggling to find an exhaust system that looked as though it wasn't an afterthought slung under the engine, and this meets my criteria, so I've gone for the same set-up. Thanks for posting, although my bank manager doesn't like you much right now lol
😂 thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. If it makes you feel better, mine is still recovering from last year too! 😂. Enjoy when the time comes! 👌😎
Thoroughly enjoyed listening to the exhaust and your subsequent chuckling.... so for my clarification, this video was Sparks race headers and Akra slip on without any fueling module? cheers
Yes, exactly that. 😎. Thanks for watching.
I thought my room was big... that suite was presidential!.
Could have knocked me over with a feather when I seen it! 😂
So it doesn't fix the wet bum/back issue. I only have to ride over a damp patch and I'm soaked..
No, not really but does help protect the shock better.
Love the sound and the chat
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Do you know roughly how many db is the exhaust? I have the new Zard racing full exhaust and it's very loud so I'm thinking of switching to Akrapovic.
It’s quite fruity with the baffle in but not offensively so. Sounds like a Moto2 bike with it removed. I actually bought an MHP exhaust for it for quiet noise limited track days. I’m actually Looking to get db meter and do a review on this very subject.
2023 MT 09 claimed 119 mesured 112 2023 street triple rs claimed 130 mesured 113 you got played bro😅
Not really. It’s 128bhp at the wheel now, so I’m quite happy with it.
This looks like it will be an interesting series, and fair play for riding all the way down south before that actual adventure begins! I've subbed and look forward to the rest of the chapters 👍
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Seriously considering selling my track 2014 daytona 675 for one of these for track
It’s ace!! it’s fantastic all round bike. I don’t think you’d be disappointed.
Demonstrating why your decision not to buy a cheap scooter was a good one
😂 I had more personal reasons but the ADV350 was a serious contender if it would have fitted with the longer term and bigger game plan. I was frustrated couldn’t fix it at the services, but hey, you don’t know what you don’t know. Of course, it was the only thing that wasn’t checked out that we could get to at the time. Every days a school day as they say!
@@twistandgo3414 I had a day riding with Helmet Head about a year and a half ago. No disasters. Only one day but wondered if it was some sort od record 😊

Hi, I have a problem, I installed the Arrow exhaust, K&N filter and Rapid Bike Eco like you, but the engine light came on, did you have this problem? I also have yellow street triple rs 2023/2024! Thank you
Ah sounds good on the install! Not so much with the engine light. Can only suggest double checking all connections you’ve made in to the bike to make sure they’re correct or fully seated? I had one hell of a job getting to the crank position sensor down the side of the bike though. Is it working ok? Have you taken it for a road test? It might be that as you disconnected the battery that the clock needs setting again. It can come on if that’s the case until it’s been set.
