Great video good to see y'all if I may ask why no dryer where u are at?
There’s no dryers because when we are combining corn, it is usually 105° and windy outside therefore the grain dries itself faster than it will be worth paying for a dryer.
How far do you have to haul the corn? Do you take to elevator or store on the farm?
It all goes to elevators. Sometimes brokers come and purchase it from the field. It goes in alot of directions. On average it’s a 15 minute haul from our fields
I know nothing about apotoxin in corn but if you switched to another farm for a different variety of corn, Is there any special changeover or cleaning you have to do?
That’s a very great question. We usually are able to just switch varieties and it will have worked itself out of the Combine before it is an issue. Luckily this year it was just a false test so we didn’t have to worry about it.

In Australia we call it a chaser bin because it chases the havester.
Grain Cart here in Iowa... they cart grain to the truck. lol. I was the draftsman for Brent Mfg. late '85 until"86... then I joined the Marine Corps... OOHRAH! The owner wanted to make me the production manager, but I hated factory life. BTW he invented the grain cart! g'day! lol

Yessir, that’s for dang sure. If we brought something 25% we would get our farmers license revoked.
