Indie developers can make this in their bedrooms but the actual game engine companies can't figure out how to make simple level design tools like this.

I suggested to them that they make an export feature but for their next game to be able to interior decorate your city/buildings. Also a tiny planet game!

I think what you were looking for is right click! Right clicking on something shows ALL controls for it including moving and height

This video perfectly showcases the beauty of this game. You start off thinking "ah there's not much to do and the demo space is pretty small so this'll be a short video", and then step by step you discover each of the little things you can do, resulting in a large, beautiful build within 20 minutes. The path tool does provide steps up the side of rocks (in your case I think you needed to widen the path). Similarly, a path intersecting with the edge of a rampart does generate steps, but only up to a certain height. There currently doesn't seem to be a way to path from one rampart to another, but that'd be a cool future idea.

Dr. Salazar is unfortunately *not* voiced by Matt Berry (who famously plays in The IT Crowd, and also in the newer Fallout series), but someone that is clearly really good at imitating his voice, Ben Kearns. Good job from him, for sure!

I believe it's using wave function collapse to procedurally generate stuff.

Have this in my wishlist for a bit now, the only thing stopping me is the lack of a goal in it. If various levels and building styles will be implemented, it will be a mustbuy, no combat needed, just something to work towards. "How do I move this building?" Been trying everything since release to get this on mac. No wine, no crossover, no parallels, no whisky, no porting kit, no windows or linux vm. Intel chips only apparently so... Waiting with jealously for it to come out for mac. With all due respect, f**k you you lucky f**ker

Consultant's xp and skills stay, there are 6 of them total and they can get to lvl10. Check their skills if you want them to level up. Dynamic color is when you let the room's overall color take over the decor item. So if you leave it on dynamic, when you paint the whole room in the room panel, they change all at once, don't need to do it separately. You need all types of decorations, because each race needs different types. Humans need ordinary decorations, tenki need room/corridor upgrade items, ohde need curios, vizarj need windows to rooms... Place at least one of each type of decoration to make doctors and patients happy. For me research just like training wasn't worth it in story mode. In endless they're good because they improve a lot without switching maps, but the effort and time it takes isn't worth it in my opinion. There will be a quest on one level one time where it will be useful, but never outside that. Sickness research will be improved on their own just fine. You can lock a doctor to a room with the lock icon next to their pictures. If you're happy with a decorated room, you should save it as a template. Was it the weirdest way to move the boning chamber? Yes. Was it a SOLID way of moving it? YES!

Your doctors are unassigning themselves. Here's what you do: Go the the assignments tab and select your currently assigned doctors. Then switch all primary assignments to secondary assignments. While this is going on, assign intermediary assignments to all doctors transitioning between assignments. Simple as that.
