In this first episode with District Apostle Schnabel, we'll learn more about him and his strategic vision for the church in his new capacity.
Before becoming an Apostle, he served as a District Rector in the New York area. One of his most significant formative experiences was discovering how to manage things going forward. His work with different congregations and groups of members in the diverse environment of New York provided him with valuable learning experiences, allowing him to gain a better perspective and connect more closely with the congregation.
In terms of strategy, it's clear that the Lord guides everything when doing His work. From the direction given by the Chief Apostle in Buffalo, District Apostle Schnabel’s strategy can be described as "Forward Together." This phrase implies where we are going and acknowledges the journey we have already taken. District Apostle Kolb carried the work forward, and we will follow in that direction as guided by the Lord.
On the other hand, the concept of “together” stands for the desire to deepen our relationships and foster a sense of unity and oneness as never before. We are emerging from the time of Covid, which brought individuality to an extreme. While some people may have enjoyed this, many of us came to realize the importance of being together. As we move forward, it's natural for us to emphasize the need for togetherness.
While our church's mission and vision statements outline what we do and why, it's also important to consider how we do things. This encompasses our church's culture, which involves our relationships with others and with Christ. It's essential to work on these relationships, with Christ being always at the center and the unifying factor.
Our Chief Apostle also emphasized this, saying, "We make Christians." We strive to bring the kingdom into people's lives every day, making our congregation unlike any other place they know. When people come through our doors, they should feel at peace and welcomed as we worship the Lord. This creates an environment where we can get along and journey towards our true home.
The Lord is guiding us on this journey, which is about being shaped into His image. It may have its challenges, but if we can achieve that, then when people come to our church, they'll feel the presence of the Lord. That's our goal.

Perhaps you have heard the phrase - "We are all the church, all the time." What does it mean to "be the church"? How should it impact our individual lives? This month, as the church, we will explore the following: •We preserve and profess - through the example of Peter, we understand how to preserve and profess, and what it means to belong to the church. •We magnify the Lord - through the examp...

After witnessing the proclamation of the resurrection, we turn to anticipating the Holy Spirit. Jesus says to His disciples: And you are witnesses of these things. Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high (Luke 24:48-49). May is a celebration and commemoration of the sending of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost....

Dear beloved in Christ, in a few weeks, our country will observe the National Day of Prayer. Originally observed in 1952 and officially designated as the National Day of Prayer since 1988, the first Thursday of May each year serves as a poignant reminder of the power of collective faith. This day becomes an opportunity to join the Christian community throughout the nation, as we put our prayerf...

Lent gave us the opportunity to prepare our hearts for Holy Week, to walk the path to the cross with Christ. April leads us into the joyous season of Eastertide - the longest liturgical celebration in the Christian calendar. It also gives us the time to truly celebrate the Risen One; an event as astounding as the resurrection could not be contained in just one day. Christ's victory over sin and...

My mum and I are watching from Brisbane, Australia. Thank you for the names of the serving Priests. Such a beautiful service.
for those of us from far away- we live in Mexico - it would be nice to have names of the serving brothers, so we get to know them also.
Priest Joshua Lindstedt is the first minister serving and he is from the Charlotte Congregation. The second is Priest Alexander Ferguson and he is from the Raleigh Congregation both are located in North Carolina.
Dear priest Ferguson I know losing a child is not easy! I have lost a child he passed away 13 days after he was born. I have been shown by our Heavenly Father has put me here for those who need someone to understand what others are going through.
Is this video also in Spanish ?
Hi Carolina, you can find a summary of the video in both English and Spanish in the video description.
The statement “like no other place I know” is deeply moving. Thank you. 🙏🏻 ❤
Thank you for the „interview“ - good opportunity to learn more and to understand the new Distric Apostle. We are far away on the other side of the ocean, acting in our personal ministerial commission here in Europe. One gospel and one goal. One vision and one mission as fixed in our marvellous catechism. We are interested not only in the work of our American sisters and brothers. But there are too small possibilities - still today -, to get close insight to the feelings and „strategies“ because of our tasks in the congregation. Therefore it is good, to learn more using this channel - as we did and as we do for example from our friends in South Africa. Please continue this work - more often. I do really appreciate your activities. Best wishes and many blessings from Germany!
Thank you, I appreciate these types of videos. Many blessings. Best regards from Uruguay, South America
