I have to say that I prefer that look of the Mirage Comics Triceraton figure over the Zog figure. I hope NECA will also have a action figure of a Triceraton Soldier (in uniform) made as well as an action figure of Triceraton Prime Leader Zanramon and if they do, the figures will most likely have the same headsculpt that was given to the Triceraton Gladiator. I wonder why the Triceraton Gladiator figure wasn't given orange horns to match with the skin and white eyes that the Triceratons had seen in the second graphic novel that was published in June of 1987, though, I would've preferred still giving the figure white horns and as well as the blue trunks that was seen on the cover of issue #6 that was published in February of 1986. The blades of the sword accessories should be short some (5:40), because the blades weren't that long as it was seen in issue #6, and the kusarigama accessory should've been given a longer chain as well (5:20).

I stumbled upon these purely by accident on my lunch break today. Picked up a set for myself and one for my friend who buys them for his young son who loves TMNT (my friend loves them, too). I hated the texture when I saw them online months ago and the head swaps are weird but, in the end, I like them. They feel like a weird mix of the classic figures and the old Mirage comics art. I like them more as a hybrid than as a “remaster,” but they are fun for what they are. I’m sure my friend’s kid can bash them around without breaking them, which is a good thing. Gotta keep those new generations of TMNT fans coming 😂

It is a completely new sculpt, it is nowhere near the same figure as the Zog figure😅

Minor correction: The Mario you have is not SHF, it's Jakk Pacific, only Luigi is SHF.

Just got mine. I truly do love these brothers. I know there is a mixed crowd and to each their own. But for $12.90 something this bad boys are a STEAL I feel. Loved the review. You made go hunt them down.

I just bought the set from Walmart. Each figure was TWELVE DOLLARS. The articulation is great. Accessories are great. Molding is overall fantastic, though the skin is textured much like the movie figures (but not rubber). Their stands all go together to make a scene on a rooftop. These are my personal favorite tmnt figures I've gotten in recent years. I really hope we get more figures in this line, like bebop and rocksteady, splinter, foot ninjas of a couple colors, and most of all; genius frog. KIDDING. TOTALLY KIDDING. I freaking want shredder.. But like I said, these are great figures overall

I picked this up yesterday. It's neat that Optimus looks like the Target trucks that you see on the interstates & highways.

Interesting size compared to Zog, I thought Triceratons were roughly the same size in comics. Different feet design too. The more variety, the better I guess. Now I wish they did regular grunt/soldier/army-build-type triceratons similar in size to this one.

The Wal-Mart on Craig and Scott Robinson has a lot of TMNT 1988 Remastered. The display stand side with them is facing inward so you'll have to move it to get to them. I bought all four turtles today👍👍

I forgot this had so many accessories. As a kid I'd just pop on the the seat and the pipes and call it ready to roll.
