He was right about Jimmy and anyone saying otherwise is just coping. The viewer sees the story through Jimmy's eyes, so there is a tendency to want to root for him. Because we see his struggles and we only ever view Chuck as the big, bad adversary who was keeping poor widdle Jimmy down. But anyone who steps back and looks objectively at the things he's done, there's no other conclusion to come to other than "Chuck was right." A dude with malicious intent who has a law degree is, in fact, like a chimp with a machine gun. If any one of us knew someone like Jimmy McGill in real life we would be hoping that he gets beat up in jail.

Here’s why I love this scene: every intricate part of this plan has all been planned most specifically. Jimmy brought Chuck’s wife in, not to expose her to the truth behind chuck’s intolerance of electricity, but to let her witness chuck’s mental breakdown in court. Chuck went into the court meeting with the notion in his head that he did truly love his brother but held the law at a higher degree… but due to Jimmy’s mockery of the court, Chuck found himself in a place of having to defend his illness; citing that he isn’t crazy, and that Jimmy really is a twisted and conniving sibling. His tirade of jimmy’s previous actions, doubting him, not trusting him, how he was the favourite of his parents, ultimately proving that Chuck really does hate his brother.

Chuck is infuriating because everything he says is true, but he's not saying it for Jimmys own good. He's saying it to hurt Jimmy because he hates Jimmy so much.

This is a prime example of why having a favored child is bad for both kids. It leads to Jimmy thinking he can get away with anything, and it leads to Chuck resenting Jimmy to the point that he thinks Jimmy made him make a mistake. Which is true, but Chuck had absolutely no evidence of that other than his complete lack of faith in his brother.
