Where did you get the cars
So beautiful ❤️!!!!!!!!
Teresa, this is truly amazing! I just started my Snow Village this year and it bugs me a bit that the snow Village people Are so big in comparison to the buildings. Which people do you use? Lemax?
Hi, thanks for your comments. Most of the figures are from a company called Arttista. Almost all of the figures on the station platform and a few around it, are from Great Britain but I can not remember name of the company. If you search O scale figures you can find many more. O scale is the scale of the trains. If you search 3d scale figures you can find very nicely scaled figures. I believe this will become the norm. They make figures by scanning real people. again you would choose the o sale ones. GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN
1/48th scale is o scale
omg ms. diller or mrs. mckiernet *sorry if i spelled it wrong* this popped up on my suggested! idk if you remember me but i miss you so much

Ciao Anna dallitalia. Grazie per I Tuoi gentili commentio Siamo molto conteni Che ti sia piaciuta la Nostra esposizione. Possano Tuttle le dose buone arrivare a te.
I copy the previous comment about setting up elaborate displays when the kids were young, but then they grew up, married, and had their own families with their own decorations and displays. This one that we are seeing is spectacular, to say the least. I wonder if Starbucks was around then, according to the time period that is represented? Just wondered. God bless.
Yes, you are correct in thinking that Starbucks was not around during that time period. We hesitated to use it because we wanted to represent the 1950's. But we liked the way it looked and caved in. Starbucks started on March 30, 1971 at the Pike Place Market in Seattle Washington. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. We appreciate your kind remarks. Take care.
Bellissimo! Le costruzioni sono tutte Dept 56? E le automobili? ❤
Grazie, Gli edifici sono tutti: Dept 56 collezione villaggio di neve. Le auto sono in scala 1/43 di molti produttori.
Where do you find all of the old signage and cars? You have a fabulous display.
Hi, except for the buildings just about everything in the scene was purchased over many years at different train shows in New Jersey. A small amount at some antique stores. Thanks for the kind reply.
Beautiful model! Still, the 19th/mid 20th centuries were pretty unpleasant times to be alive unless you had a decent income/inheritance.
WOW, Very Nice !
Это потрясающе!
A magical winter wonderland, with no crime in sight, so nice.......
Wow🎉🎉🎉🎉
brilliant absolutely brilliant
Hi Robert, wishing you and your family a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous New Year 2024. 🎉
Hi, Thank you very much. Hoping the same for you and your family. I hope you had many visitors to enjoy that wonderful display.
Absolutely beautiful!!!
Nice layout
This is fantastic and the fact that you did it with your dad brings a tear to my eye.
Beautiful work Teresa Diller, thank you for showing us and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
I have to agree with many others here in the comment section…. This is one of the nicest Christmas town, train set ups I’ve seen. Just the right amount of everything. The layout of the town, village is great.
Is that a dash-9 or idk I can't tell what it is
Hi,Merry Christmas. It is a es44ac built by General Electric. The model was made by MTH trains.
Magical! You made my day! Thank you.
Awsome just awsome
I wish I could do that
It’s not as hard as it looks. Collecting for many years helps. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Amazing, gorgeous 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Beautiful but we're coming for your display crown next year
Great, can’t wait to see it
The best one I’ve seen, I too trying to make mine but I’m lacking space but need my garage cleared for my car.
Cool video. Just subscribed. Is there another video soon?
Sadly no, we are getting ready to move so we are not putting a village up this year.
That looks WONDERFUL! I love all the detail, small pieces and the lights. The special effect is cool too! Great video! New sub here!
Would look cool in the dark. Look like fun to make, but I'm stuck in making robot models. 😅
Love It! Inspiring! Thank You For Posting This!
Where is Jesus?
I believe that anyone who truly loves Christmas holds Jesus Christ in their hearts. In the scene, there are two church's . Both have a manger by them. While building the scene, I purchased three flat cars. One held the shepherd's and one held a manger and the other the three wise men All the figures light up and some people might thin them tacky. But I wanted to make them the center of the train because they represented the Christ. Unfortunately, when I tried to run the train they would not fit through the tunnel portal. I also purchased through Knights of Columbus, a keep Christ in Christmas boxcar that did not arrive till after Christmas. So maybe next time.
@@robertdiller5447 Christ is the centre and Jesus is the reason of the season. The crib is his birthplace. If you put the people who were the main characters as props, you're not representing him. The Christmas village is a cheap substitute for the crib.
Amazing. When I was little I always wanted to have a train set. Never happened. It was seven siblings in the late 60's and 70's. They still amaze me after all these years.
Beautifully done. There was a time when I did such things (not nearly as nice) as part of family Christmas tradition. Age and illness put a stop to it years ago. Thank you for the reminder of times gone. I wish you many years of enjoying this tradition and many years of happiness as a family. And most of all, I wish you a Merry Christmas.
Thank you very much. We also wish you the same.

Very very nice ❤ merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 😊
Thank you for sharing the absolutely beautiful layout. Very few of us get to spend quality time with Dad like you have. Your layout is so well thought out, meaningful scenes that tell a story. Also you have everything on scale. Such a joyous tradition to pass on to your family. May God bless you all. I feel like you have inspired many families to spend more time together if they can only lay down those obsessive cell phones.
Thank you for your very kind comments. I am thinking that you are in possession of a very beautiful soul. A very Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Love Christmas villages where did buy the pieces for your village? Thangs ❤
I have a question for you?… Is this the same Teresa featured in O gauge railroading magazine issue number 211, December 2005 pages 76 and 77?🚂🚂🚂
Yes it is. How did you know? Do you know her? This her father responding but I will make sure she sees this in case she knows you.
@@robertdiller5447 Every single year since December 2005, I read the article in my magazine! I absolutely love the layout that’s why I keep rereading it every year! Thank you so much for responding to me! 👏👏👏
Hello again. If you look at the description there is a link that will show you a story about the village shown in the magazine. It is a digital story Teresa did for a college assignment about a childhood memory. The display is very similar to this one but you may enjoy the story. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas.@@georgecastro181
@@robertdiller5447 WOW Mr. Dillard, You’re not going to believe this… It’s a long story but here’s a short version of it… After reading your article and looking at the photographs in the 2005 O gauge magazine, I started the same tradition with my daughter! I live in San Francisco, California and the day after Thanksgiving, I start setting up my trains in my living room as well! it takes me three days to do the temporary layout! I know in my heart you and your family are some of the most wonderful people on the planet! Merry Christmas to you as well my friend!🎄 I also enjoyed watching Teresa‘s video!👏
Wow what a nice story. The thought that we inspired you in any way that would produce an action that could provide pleasure and happiness fills my heart with pleasure. May you have many years of happy village building. A very Merry Christmas to you and your family. I have no doubt that you are a wonderful person pure at heart. Thanks for making my day.@@georgecastro181
MAGNIFIQUE!!!
The large oak trees in the front are beautiful. Are they Dept. 56?
No, My daughter and I made them from twisting old telephone wire into the shapes of trees. I think you can find instructions on how to do this on you tube.
Just Wow.very nice & sweet video. happy Christmas. 👌❤
Oh so beautiful 😍
you should set this up as a halloween city when the season appears :)
