An overrated writer who ran out of inspiration in English and is now seeking refuge in writing undergraduate-level essays in Italian. Ahhh, and LO skipper, vow, couldn't just be a skipper..
Shame he went to prison for murdering and raping 3 boys
Born the 4th of July is one of the best movies ever. Not to mention that gave Tom Cruise the opportunity to show how good an actor he could be.
Damien didnt pass the polygraph test Misskelley didnt pass the polygraph test polygraph is a highly accurate tool that can detect deception in approximately 90% of cases Do you want me to believe both of them failed? ooh yes sure Detective Durham concluded Misskelley had failed his polygraph examination, "lying his ass off." Damien results: IN THE PRETEST INTERVIEW, THE SUBJECT DENIED HAVING BEEN IN ROBIN HOOD HILLS ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 5, 1993. HE DENIED BEING PRESENT WHEN THE VICTIMS WERE KILLED AND DENIED HAVING KILLED ANY OF THE VICTIMS. HE ALSO SAID HE DID NOT KNOW WHO KILLED THE THREE VICTIMS. A TEN QUESTION POLYGRAPH TEST WAS FORMULATED AND THREE POLYGRAPH CHARTS WERE CONDUCTED. THE TEST CONTAINED THE FOLLOWING RELEVANT QUESTIONS: Q.#3. AT ANY TIME WEDNESDAY OR WEDNESDAY NIGHT, WERE YOU IN ROBIN HOOD HILLS? "NO" Q.#5. WERE YOU PRESENT WHEN THOSE BOYS WERE KILLED? "NO" Q.#7. DID YOU KILL ANY OF THOSE THREE BOYS? "NO" Q.#9. DO YOU KNOW WHO KILLED THOSE THREE BOYS? "NO" Q.#10.DO YOU SUSPECT ANYONE OF HAVING KILLED THOSE THREE BOYS? "NO" IT IS THE OPINION OF THIS POLYGRAPH EXAMINER THAT THIS SUBJECT RECORDED SIGNIFICANT RESPONSES INDICATIVE OF DECEPTION WHEN HE ANSWERED THE ABOVE LISTED RELEVANT QUESTIONS IN THE MANNER NOTED. CONCLUSION: DECEPTION INDICATED
What a brilliant interviewer - he really holds a deep appreciation for his craft. Zadie was equally brilliant in her delivery, probed by thought, reflection and her inherent intelligence. This stuff should be viewed in length by all students embarking on a life of “becoming a writer”. More please 🙏🏽
Just love Tyson . The host only read the book but not his history , so he could not have a fluent starting at the beginning .

Are all these things first tried out on less important old documents, to see how spraying liquids etc. will actually react with the paper ?
Hebrew letters so elegant and beautiful! Islamic lettering looks like swords.
Bien cordialement. Abd Allah Gaston
Has anyone confronted Rollins about this? It takes a special kind of naivety and extreme tunnel vision to believe the West Memphis Three are innocent. Did he just watch the awful documentaries and didn't bother doing his own research? You don't even need to spend a whole lot of time digging for information to know how many incriminating facts were omitted in all the pro-WMP3 propaganda. Shocking.
I visited in April 2024. What a beautiful place. Unfortunately there are so many visitors that you can hardly hear yourself think.
xx
Watched in 2024, what a privilege and appreciated every minute and every word
Mike tyson 10/10 Interview 10/10 Audience 0/10
I am from Pakistan archive deperment plse sher me some experience
The most impactful thing you did in your life, Henry Rollins, is helping a sadistic triple child murderer out prison and having an interview with him in front a huge crowd of people and cameras where you talk about what a hero he is. And now that sadistic child murderer acts like a cult leader and does god knows what in his free time. Amazing. What a legacy you left, man.
Yeah, what the hell is he thinking? This whole case shouldn't even be controversial. Somebody should feed him all the evidence Clockwork Orange style. If you support literal child murderers for many years, it's probably hard to publicly admit your naivety. It looks like he STILL genuinely believes they did nothing wrong, though.
@@Ohio.GozaimasuI think it's very likely that he wouldn't be able to admit it even to himself at this point, let alone publicly withdraw his support. The same thing goes for all the other celebrities that supported the WM3, it's possible that they will distance themselves from the case but they won't admit they were wrong. After learning more about the case, it's so weird to see people like Rollins or Peter Jackson just chilling with Echols, like there is no way he is the killer. The crime he was in prison for was very cruel. They all bought into this scam and promoted it too.
@@greenneonsky I wonder how many people ACTUALLY believed OJ Simpson was innocent when he was acquitted. I read somewhere how awkward people felt around him when he was attending parties after the trial.
I miss when being a liberal meant you thought corporations should pay taxes, invading other countries for no reason was bad, and healthcare should be available for everyone....instead of...whatever the hell this is.
Thank you for inviting us! Great event!
58:44. Perfection.
Many people believe they are guilty. Well, even if that's true, and they actually did the crime, they definitely did the time.
Empty Glass is my favourite solo or Who album.
Love the Who,love his writing, great in interviews-one big complaint..The kiddie porn. Was it true?
Because of this, I have started to read Dostoevsky. Marjane Satrapi's view of good literature is excellent: does it change how you are or how you think?
Petes an interesting bunch of guys....
Absolutely fuck this audience, emotionally ignorant, such a shame as the interviewer was incredible. Mike's there breaking up and the audience is laughing as if he's telling some stoner story, it really irritated me as Mike (as mentioned is traumatised in many areas from childhood) so didn't want to break down probably from fear of being mocked so held back on some stories, anyway, rant over
1:05:07 wow that mentality🔥🔥🔥
Pete is wonderful! That’s how we know him! I could listen to him forever! BUT: The interviewer is so annoying and a pain in the a…. So pretentious and a wanna be a deep-thinker! And the way he talks and his accent. All do fake! But yeah… I’m not surprised knowing his ethnicy! I’m sure he got his job because of „his people“. Because he is absolutely not talented!
The phrase ref to the P51 as 'the Cadillac of the skies" comes from Empire of the Sun by J.G Ballard
Orwell's Politics and the English Language was first published in December 1945.
Save the Earth “ smash a guitar!” Someone with too much money. Love The Who, Pete is so talented and also so rich and pompous.
They were in two different Autism movies! Adam and Temple Grandin
Excellent interview
"Articulate", "Closure", "Androgynous", "Systematic", "Zen", "Meditation", "Gonzo", "Buddhist", "Religious", "Kafka", "Zealot",. I knew before I even started that several of these "Cop Out" words would be regurgitated at some point,..the opening lines.. "Zen Buddhist". I couldn't believe it, well TBH I could,!! Total sell out in one seat and a Egotistical in the other
I used to have all the respect in the world for Rollins, but I've came to realise he's a "jump on the bandwagoner",.. firstly he detests The Cure, the opening track here,.. Close to You, where ever theirs a fashionable or popular anything happening he's there! The death of Cobain, Staley, Cornell Andy Wood et al, he all of a sudden a best mate or a huge fan,! Even Ian Curtis N joy Division he's NOW a huge fan of the whole Tony Wilson's Factory scene, Depp, Veeder hell even the Dixie Chicks,. Now Rollins!! Dime bag Darrel, he was a huge fan,! He's got the cheek to go on bout how he can't stand junkies, but he seems to be in their corner if their popular or famous! Give it up Henry, you're a fake M.F, aw yeah, and he loves skaters although,...he don't skate,!! Bah humbug,!!
He also had a solid 8 minute bit in one of his standup specials (it was Keep Talking, Pal, if I recall) where he "joked" that white people should stop being in power. He would get destroyed in any debate concerning politics or culture.
@@Ohio.Gozaimasu Yeah mate, he's am absolute idiotic clown, regards, Scotland y
Dear Ash Ash - I'm worried to death because I haven't been able to see you doing well. You said we live in different worlds. But is that true? We have different colored skin and eyes. We were born in different countries. But we're friends. Isn't that what counts? I'm really glad I came to America. I met lots of people. And more than anything, I met you. You asked me over and over if you scared me. But I never feared you, not once. What's more is you're hurt much more than me. I couldn't help feeling that way. Funny, huh? You're way smarter, bigger, and stronger than me. But I always felt like I had to protect you. I wonder what it is I wanted to protect you from. I wanted to protect you from fate. The fate that tries to carry you away, drifting futher and futher. You told me once about a leopard you read in a book. How you believed that leopard knew that it couldn't go back. And I said you weren't a leopard, that you could change your destiny. You're not alone. I'm by your side. My soul is always with you. - Eiji Okumura
Development is a must.
Great music from a brilliant mind. Thank you so much, Pete.
He should've never got out the mephis boogyman as he said ,ill be tell my children about for eternity ya killa
greatest composer not great musician but a great song writer
Mike is re-ironed...Brooklyn~
Our language is Not called Ethiopic!! Its Amharic(the language Amharic) and we call Geez (the language geez.)
Unfortunately Ms Benjamin described the current conflict w Israel- Hamas as genocide South Africans proposal to UN is considered controversial due to Hamas tactics of sheltering in residential areas ie schools hospitals
Beautiful.
Very insightful, why always after artist die then he/she become famous.
this is so cool how they interviewed the guy that killed those children. great work !
Terry Hobbs dna WAS found at the crime scene - that is documented.
Amazing, the first edition was in 1820 in France. In 2020, one set of books (6 books of 4 pages each) auctioned for 1.870 € in Paris. An other auctioned for 1.600 £ in NewCastle, UK. Unknown editor and writer.
It's shameful that people empathize more with Damien and the WM3 than the three small children who were tortured to death... all while the killers are still at large... what a damn dirty shame
Is there anyway I can schedule a time too see there or if there is an exhibition? Also, is there a royal charter for New York, and if there was do you have it?
