Tiny Tickers Family Support Webinars - Supporting Everyday Life: Starting Nursery or School
This is the latest webinar in a new series offering practical tips and support to families of babies with congenital heart disease (CHD). This free session will provide you advice about your child with CHD beginning nursery or school - a topic that is commonly discussed on our Facebook group for parents and carers. Speakers will include a cardiac nurse specialist; a clinical psychologist; and Tiny Tickers staff and volunteers who have personal experience of this topic as parents of children with CHD.

Tiny Tickers is working hard to help give babies with serious heart conditions a better start. We want babies with congenital heart disease (CHD) to get the treatment they need as early as possible. Watching this helps but still scary af my son has tof found in utero where I knew most of the possibilities. Today at 9 days old is his first surgery I’m scared of the worst but hoping for the best.

@@tinytickers6423 it was such an emotional day full of ups and downs. I thought I was mentally prepared but I don’t think anything can mentally prepare to see your 9 day old have surgery. After a 4 hr surgery and 4 hr recovery told by all he is doing great Drs are very happy with the outcome. He is still sedated a bit saw him they say his breathing tube will be removed this morning. So here Jasper goes on the road to recovery

My mother always told how it was painful not knowing if I was going to survive. I had like 4 defects. I'm 44 and had another surgery at 39. Still here.
