I didn't get to see them cutting the peat, but we stacked the cut peat in the field to dry before it was carted home. You would have to find a peat field near you, then, cut it, stack it, dry it....

It's a public space, for EVERYONE, not a dog park. It's not just this park, it's everywhere. It's about people being responsible dog owners and following the laws that are there so everyone can enjoy the park. But people can't because it's nothing but a dust/mud bowl. So, I am putting in effort educating you...obviously. FYI, there is an off leash dog area 2 blocks away....why don't you call out the lazy, entitled dog owners for not walking 2 blocks...lol.

Maybe you need to see a video when one of the dogs attacked me sitting alone..not talking to anyone or one of the ongoing times of off leash dogs all over, in every park, even if there is an off leash dog park right there, 20 feet away!! And in this case it's literally 2 blocks away!! But the lazy people who got a dog so that they would go for a walk, can't even walk 2 blocks. Maybe you need to see the video of a dog attacking a 4 yr old and the owner blaming the child, yup, saw that.. probably another 'well behaved dog' which was also off leash...or a baby crawling through feces, that was gross. Maybe I should have videotaped the dog limping home after his irresponsible owner had it in an inappropriate place to play. I said nothing...because I didn't want to be the person always saying something. Then the poor dog limped home because I said NOTHING! And it was gross when the day of this video, on top of being attacked by a dog, fresh feces lay in wait. I guess you like stepping in shit and being jumped on by dogs. Invite them to your yard and tell them to stay out of public spaces until they learn how to behave responsibly.​

I never thought of that. You are correct that there is a Native reserve that spans both sides of the border. But it never occurred to me that this could be this bridge. I asked a security guard about it and all he said was that you need a pass to use it. Thanks for the insight and if anyone reading this that knows about this bridge for sure sure😊, let us know.
