New subscriber here. I share this on Facebook. I'm a beginner in photography. Thank you for sharing this. 😊

What a peaceful video, thanks man
On my way to find which photos really motivate me, these philosophical points are real guideposts. Thank you.
I appreciate this philosophy and the way you share it for the good. Thank you. Sayonara.
Excellent. Humble and interesting words, no demonstration of any kind. Wabi-Sabi attitude goes straight to the point. I learned something i wish to practice now. Thank you. Nice photos by the way.
What a nice tour, so soothing.... Thnx bossmang!
Thanks!!
From -30C to +30C, Montreal has it all and you’ve captured some fine images on your city photo walk … well done! 📷😄 PS: On an unrelated note … thought you might be interested to know that I purchased a delightful book “ Bushido Illustrated - The Soul of Japan” by Inazo Nitobe. The book is bound with thread in a traditional Japanese fashion and has many beautiful paintings. I hope to make my first photo book sometime this year using a similar Japanese stab binding.
If cmos made a video 🙏
This is an AMAZING video. Thank you so much for making and sharing this! Each of the lessons you taught translates much deeper and further than the lens we capture pictures through. These lessons are spiritual, mental, emotional and can be applied into almost aspect of life. Again, thank you because this is extremely transformative.
Really appreciate the message in this one!
Amazing how easy it is to sit back and think, If I had been there.... Thanks for a look at a fine day.
Thanks!!
この動画のLUTは何ですか?
Beautiful philosophy and even beautifully used in photography context.
Good philosophies for all living. Thanks you.
Very good ❤
I accidentally came over this video and i liked it so much, thanks a lot! It's really inspiring!
Inspiring, best regards from France.
yup!
Arigatogosaimass 😃
'Ultimately, photography is you and the photos you take.' 'Photography is kinda journey, not a sprint'. Wow! As a fairly young person, you show to possess wisdom in buckets! Well done from Brazil! Also, thank you for the inspiration! PS: Would you be so kind as to writing in a reply the Japanese ideograms for all the five philosophies for me to compile it as list for a non-English-speaking friend?
Amazing video, I have a Q2 ghost and was considering upgrading to the Q3 now that prices have calmed down for it. Only thing stopping me is the body of the ghost looks way better than a Q3. Wanted your insight on why you haven’t upgraded your Q2?
Shooting at night in Montreal is fun ! Nice video Toshiki ✌
Just inspired me for a similar video for Tunisian photography philosophy
Beautiful, thank you. I resonate most with "Ichi Go Ichi E" - that is, I most often regret not having taken photos, because times were busy or I didn't know people well yet. I shall be mindful of this phrase in future
Great video. Soo inspiring and motivational. Loved it. Thank you for sharing this thoughts with all of us. 😊🤩👍🏻📸
🎉🎉
thank you 🥰
Sakuサンの魅力がしっかり伝わってきます🍀 ステキなDocumentaryをありがとうございます✨
This is such a fantastic Video
Too many other videos with "don't do this, don't do that" or "don't be that person and make sure you're doing this..." Which is why your video is a powerful reminder that photography is art and art is completely subjective. It's not about censoring yourself, it's about inspiring yourself. Don't let the "don't" of others get in the way of anything. Good job sharing, the world needs this reminder, thank you!
Thank you for this video. It will help many doubting creators
I love this. Thanks for creating and sharing your culture and its relation to photography.
I really enjoyed this short doc … well done Toshiki and Diego! Story, visuals and sound pitch perfect. I liked how the audience reactions and comments eclipsed the clips of Saku’s bits. Good luck Saku … you are fortunate to have such a supportive family.
Great stuff! Love the colors and the overall rythm! And Diego's mixing! 🔥🔥🔥🔥Congrats bro!
Very cool advises! Very cool Video!
i love the music on the opening sequence!!! what is it? help me please!
I like this, thanks!
Great video, Funny you bring it up, I just bought that book from Amazon used. Did not read it yet now I am more excited to read it.
From the thumbnail I thought this was a Gxace video
Thanks for the video! I think these philosophies can be useful not just in photography but in life in general. 1. Kaizen 改善 Change for the better, Continuous improvement. One step at a time. Look for things you can learn along the way and make small improvements over time. 2. Suki Koso Mono No Jouzu Nare 好きこそ物の上手なれ like (for sure) thing , become skillful => You will certainly become skillful at the things you like to do 3. Nana Korobi Ya Oki 七転びや起き seven to fall down eight to get up => If you fall seven times, get up eight times. Never give up. 4. Ichi Go Ichi E 一期一会 one time one meeting => this moment is unique and will never come again. Carpe diem - seize the day. If you see an opportunity take it, because it won’t come again. 5. Juu Nin To Iro 十人十色 ten people ten colours => everyone is unique. It’s fine to be inspired by others, but your own work is unique and you don’t need to compare yourself with anyone else.
The like to view ratio on this video is incredible
Your videos about philosophy of photography helped me out of a dark part of my life. Thank you.
Please tell what music was used in this video, it's gorgeous!
Maybe "rustic" is a suitable english translation?
This is awesome, as a Chicano you motivated me to learn more about the Japanese culture. Subscribed! Thank you 🙏🥇
