I have had mine for years! Bought it off a guy who completely restored it and it sounds really really nice! Definitely recommend replacing the needle and eventually you might want to replace the power button, otherwise that’s all! BTW, since I could never figure this out, to adjust the weight of the tone arm, here’s what you do: 1. Set the bar on the arm to the back of the tone arm (opposite side of the needle) 2. Adjust the weight on the back of the arm until the tonearm is balanced (meaning it’s not leaning forward or backward, just be sure to set the support down so you aren’t tricked haha) 3. Set the bar attached to the tone arm to whatever weight you need for your stylus, by pulling it towards to the needle until you feel it click. If you don’t have a scale, here’s how the notches are set up on the arm: 1st notch is 0.75 g, 2nd notch is 0.5 g, and the rest are in increments of 0.5 grams. Hopefully that is helpful to you guys!
My parentes had this one! As a Norwegian student i bought the 312 in 77 and i still use it! Mine has red lights!
very nice
To make it und end automatically you have to fix the light bulp underneath, it’s responsible for closing the the power circuit, bulps are 6V 0,05A, best wishes from Germany!
How much?
Wonderfull ‼️ I felt the soul you were pouring into that harmonica! The tune had a peak of crazy rhythm and sound in the middle ! It ended well too! Tx🎵💖✨
Just acquired one of these. I’m puzzled why the cartridge carrier doesn’t sit flush with the head capsule. I thought perhaps it was broken somehow but see it looks like that on all I’ve seen.
For the banter.
Kya aap ise bechenge?
Found one of these, what do I need to play music? Just a stereo receiver and speakers?
Amplifier and speakers will do the trick!
I don’t mind that there are better vacuums out there than Dyson, but putting up videos like this online that pass them off as something that they really aren’t is a violation to my sense of integrity!
Back in 2018 my wife and I went to a second hand store that opened for the first time the day we went. While my lovely wife was off looking for things, I headed right for the area I saw some Tv's and stereos! As my eyes were scouting around I saw 2 small boxes with speakers in them. These 2 boxes held a set of Realistic Bookshelf Speakers from 1978, and they had never been opened. The price tag on the 2 boxes was $25, and I couldn't get my money out fast enough to pay for them. The guy who just went into business and opened his store for the very first time that day, did not know what he had in those 2 very pretty boxes, and I did not tell him, until I had paid for them. Once I told him, he didn't seem to care! When we got home I carefully opened both boxes to find 2 perfectly good bookshelf speakers, still wrapped in the original cellophane, and still in the original boxes by Realistic. I took the speakers out, nit a mark on them, and they sounded awesome.
This demo is misleading! Learn why the Dyson wasn’t performing well! m.czcams.com/video/kD57sF9WCEI/video.html
My Mach One’s were the best speakers I have ever heard/ I now collect them and rebuild them/ and ‘yes’ , the foam surround is the first to deteriorate/ incredible find / Enjoy

Hey Frank, u must be down South in Florida like I wish. Good tunes Frank, I bought my gkids harmonicas 8 of 14, n can't wait until Xmas so all 8 drive their parents crazy. Laugh My pa had a few n was actually pretty damn, but don't know what happened to them. I been looking at a few, but I might be too a paradog to try to play. How long have you been doing this stuff? Thanks for the tunes dude,,, Ty
Thank you, Ty. I've been playing the little harmonicas for decades but I just started playing the big chromatic.
It’s like watching someone unwrapping the best birthday present ever. Enjoy.
❤️💛❤️💛❤️
How much price
I have one of these but in order to keep it playing I have to keep my finger on the 33 or 45 button. Any ideas on a fix?
I have a pair of Mach 3's from around 1992 and that is what is connected to the computer that is in this room. The Surrounds need replacment as you would guess but they were good speakers. in my lounge I have a pair of Yamo 707 I. These pair look great.
Wow...what a clear bright sound!!!
small but so nice :)
fun blues!
I want to buy. Pls send contact
You can adjust the speed of 33 and 45, but by not showing the turntable without a record on it it rather seems pointless.
sounds so nice wow
Score! I used to dream of having a pair in the the early 80's.
How much would a used pair of speakers along with the entire sound system realistic mach one be worth today?
You lucky bastard!
Can you please tell me how to adjust the tonearm.... I've lost my manual
There is a weight adjust circle at the end of the tone arm ,if your record are new then the weight of arm is in 0.5mg to1.5mg.if records are old not perfectly play then increase the weight 2mg to 5mg according to your sound.
Nah, thats not how it works.
Nice
the magnavox amp is actually from around 1958
Correct
Awesome rendition guys. Miss being able to get up to The Clam Digger.
You should have made a video of how they sound.
I have the 4024a's
All show and no go. I’ve owned a pair of 4024 that I bought from the original owner and they were in mint condition. Terrible sounding speaker. No bass out of that 16” woofer. My Klipsch KG3.5 with a single 8” woofer blew the Mach 1s out of the water. Ended up selling them. Way overrated and overpriced.
No they weren't
They just needed a Powerful amp & Great Equalizer set up
The 4024a's
well put your fuckin foot through it then and hollar fuckit she blowed
I've got several sets of Realistic speakers that have original foam surrounds. The were coated or something. I have JBL, Infinity, and Boston Acoustics from the same era that all have had to be refoamed.
These are 4024 with rubber suspension that won't rot. I have mine from 1977 and are still in perfect working condition in 2018. They were custom built by Fisher Electronics (later sold to Sanyo Electric of Japan) for Radio Shack and carried a lifetime warranty from Tandy Corp. back in the days.
I had the ones with foam and they disinigrated along with the woofer cones themselves. I could effortlessly stick my finger through them. They were fabulous for 25 years though.
@@moonlightfishin4113 Yep, mine lasted 25 years as well, but they do sell re-foam kits for them and it was not that hard to replace the foam.
I have these since new and still use them. They sound so great. I tried to replace them a few times thinking I could do better but never did. Congratulations. I hope you get the same enjoyment!
Never a fan of Mach 1s. Colored mids and highs and constipated bass that lacked extention.
They just need a powerful Amp & Great Equalizer set up
What an incredible find! Happy for you.......but wishing they were mine!
wow!!!!
Wow New in The Box What a Great Find I have My Mach 1 Speakers Will Restore The Wood With Howard Restore Products They Still Sound Great I Will Connect Them To My New DENON AVR-S920W 4K Receiver Shoud sound Great
