2019 Ford Focus had the indicator on the trailing edge of the pad which seemed sensible to me as you don’t want the indicator being wedged between pad and disc
I'd rather take a chance with my car being stolen then deal with P.A.S.S.
what if your old pads didnt have them and the pads you just bought didnt have them connected to the pads... are they necessary? i have no clue where to put these lil #$%$^#$%#$~~!!!
Carb sucks
People that watch these already know they may have dirty injectors. HOW TO CLEAN. NOT WITH A SO CALLED PROFESSIONAL KIT. FK ME PEOPLE CLOG UP YOU TUBE WITH THESE TIME WASTING CLIPS.
Useless as tits on a bull.
He said whole lit of nothing
I just watched an ADVERTISEMENT 🙄 138 👍 ??? I'm happy with the Coolant I currently use. But was I curious is it worth trying something else ? Obviously not if this video is anything to go by ???
Thanks I learned complete nothing
You Would Install It On The Suction Line Going To The Pump From The Reservoir "OR" The Line Returning From The R&P To The Reservoir? 🤔 Thinking It Thru Wisely: If You Have Gunk & Debris In The Reservoir Why Would You Put It On The Return Line Coming From The Rack & Pinion To The Reservoir Allowing The Gunk & Debris In To The Pump & Rack & Pinion. "NO" This Is Why You Are Installing A Filter To Prevent Gunk & Debris From Entering The System. So Installing It On The Suction Line Going From The Reservoir To The Pump Would Be The Correct Method Of Operation.
$150 for a driveshaft shop to replace U joints, balance, and paint your driveshaft or buy one made of chenesium for $1500! 🤣
Sealed is better
I don’t feel any smarter. That’s 2 1/2 minutes I’ll never get back.
False! If the part you replaced is directly the issue and you replaced the part then cleared the code chances are very slim that the same exact code will come back so yes clear the code after the part is replaced
My power steering fluid is RED and NEW.
When these days have passed long into history, people will look back and marvel at our stupidity for giving computers so much control over our machines.
Yeah these designer are just foolish all that just to start and drive .
So the leading edge is the edge that the rotor meets first as the car is rolling forward. Basically if your caliper is mounted on the rear of the axle the leading edge will be on the bottom however, if your caliper is mounted on the front of the axle the leading edge will be on top.
Very informative! Thank you! That caliber part and lightly applied braking removing the noise and sound at certain speed. I’ve had this noise for what seems a long time
Last time I had my hubs replace they lasted 6 months. Too bad just out of warranty.. My shop is the best at finding the absolute cheapest parts that just make it out of warranty. Guess that's how he bought that new RAPTOR.
He's just trying to get you to spend more. What a clown
I believe that you are wrong about PASSlock. The system is in the lock, not the key. So a copied key of any kind will work as far as I am aware. The system is easy to bypass if you wait long enough, even if you replace a component. But a copied key works instantly. Passlock prevents your knife/screwdriver attack, but most other attacks are just a matter of waiting the 10 to 30 minutes for the relearn, no programming required.
It’s actually easier for a shops to replace the whole driveshaft instead of just the u joints same process less work more profit for them
I'll make sure I steer clear of that shop....
Don’t worry fellas I figured it out since he gave a horrible explanation with no visuals to show…so you want the squealer (metal clip thing) on the opposite side of where your caliper pushes, for my car the silver clip goes towards the bottom. Hope this helped more than the video.
Trakmotive only does wholesale.
Napa sells them
@@danbelangerdb so does rockauto
What if you don't change the hub, but only the sensor ?
Rubbish
Trash video
Yep bad sensor from factory had zero lights on dash now abs don't work after uplander hub change.
On the ACDelco Gold 18FR1378KSD calipers, what are the wire springs for ?
Your website su ks. Youre not able to look up parts at all
After watching this video 5 times I think I would have a better chance finding my girlfriends G-spot!
What a useless video, “is you car making a strange sound, one that you aren’t familiar with, replace the entire drive train, and if it’s still doing it, call your dad.”
If i have a spacer currently on the differential, do i still use the spacer when installing these? 2009 silverado 6" lift.
Perfect example of a liberal.
Thank you Andrew. I couldn't remember if the Squealer ( I always called them the wear indicator ) went on the leading edge of the trailing edge of the pad. When you have a 10 yr old vehicle, it's had a few brake jobs in its life. So, yes, the one I removed was on the leading edge and on the piston side of the caliper. ( or inward side ) After reading some of the negative comments, I found myself scratching my head in disbelief. What part of inward and leading edge don't these ppl understand ! Most of them probably can't tell time on an analog clock either, therefore they don't know Clock Wise (CW) from Counter Clock Wise (CCW). Or the difference between a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. 😂 Thanks again, 👍👍
Take the motor off the back of the caliber and retract the spline drive and Back the piston in ?
I bought 2002 Tahoe on 2010 was installed with after market security alarm I used that for long time until both fob keys was bad so I decided to removed after market system and I start using original fob keys work okay but my Question is if I unlock the door with the key and open the door horn doesn't go off and the vehicle start normal is that normal ? my understanding is if we don't use fob key to unlock the door vehicle should not start and horn should go off please advice thank you and yes yellow security light working blinking and if i unlock from inside and I open the door horn goes off
Thank you for all the info. My trucks ignition switch was jacked up by would be thieves. The dealer replaced the ignition switch and supposedly reprogrammed the keys. It still idles rough and won’t stay running. Could screwing up my ignition w
Do you have this part for a 2005 Ranger 3.0 2WD with 9 inch lift?
If this brand of hub is the same quality has there rubber bushings stay the f...k away. Skf is the way to go in this day and age
I have had a 2002 Ford F-250 Super Duty used that i put over 100,000 miles without adding grease to any of its ball joints or tie rod ends. But I did change those whole parts around that many miles that i put into it. I will check to see how much it will last if i just inspect it and add a little when it looks necessary.
Ok, manufactures say if you open a bottle of brake fluid and use some, put the cap back on tightly, it should be discarded after one year? So if I have a 8oz bottle brake fluid and I use 1oz, how much moisture in in that new volume of air that's now taking up the space of that 1oz of missing brake fluid? I haven't done the math but I would gander somewhere in the hundredths of a percent, maybe a thousands of a percent of moisture? Ok so now we take the cap off the master cylinder to add a little brake fluid. The 'Full' line is never at the top by the cap. You could probably get another 1-3 oz in there depending on the size of your mater cylinder, much more air then was introduced to our 8oz can of brake fluid we opened. We put the cap back on the master cylinder and write the date down and throw out the fluid in the brake system after one year as we would do with our used 8oz bottle of brake fluid? And you said that the master cylinder cap allows a small amount of air in to make up for the fluid level going down as the pads/shoes get worn down. So fresh moist are is constantly coming into the master cylinder reservoir through the cap? Sound worse then an 8oz bottle of brake fluid with 1oz poured out and the cap put tightly back on.
Manufacturers recommend changing the brake fluid, in vehicles, every 2 years. So doing the math, if you have a opened bottle of brake fluid that is exactly a year old and use it to do a brake fluid change/flush on your vehicle that fluid will ideally be at most 3 years old (since initially exposed to air) before it is discarded.
Diesel mechanic here. Some newer vehicles have eps on them and a scan tool is needed which i dont have currently lol.
Basically inside or backside and on the bottom
I have a good u joint and no visual play on but still get that laud clunk when shifting to drive only.
WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.. USELESS VIDEO
Hey so I liked the part when you mentioned that you can hear it from a stop to a go but I hear it from a go to a stop would that still be the same issue it feels like a kick not just the sound would that be my transmission slipping?
They don't come out in the rust belt, so we can't do that
I appreciate the video however I’m where sensor goes
Confused on
The aftermarket exceeding goal… should only apply to premium aftermarket
