Blimey. We have a 300 in the arcade, and the spinner drives this unit, and a chain of lights. The first and last light, somehow both come on. I was going to bring this question to expo in October.. and then this appears. Unbelievable. I'll shall watch this several times. Thank you sir. I think the unit is stepping ok, but randomly it will half step. Will look very closely. See you in October. Safe travels

Just took mine apart last week. Working on it now. Thanks for the door part at the end, it will help me put my coin return back together, as mine came without the coin tray and back piece, and I wasn't 100% sure which order it went in.

Thanks for another helpful video. What is the purpose of the drive arm stop if it is adjusted to be just clear of the arm when the drive plunger hits the coil stop? (at about 39:17)

That rust he cleaned off will flash rust. You should polish it with some car polish or give it a spray with some clear coat to stop it rusting straight away.

Confirming something about placing the spring over the coil plunger at 13:25.....You said put it on "up". But didn't show it in place, so we know what "up" means. I think you meant so that it is Convex, with the outer portion of the spring pointing out, away from the housing. I've looked all over youtube for a good diagram and am not smart enough to find one.

At 8:00 you stated the problem referencing the schematic. Could you also then show the actual "lug", "Log" that was "touching"? You showed us in theory what was wrong, but some of us have no idea where that is located in the machine.
