THANK YOU !!!! At my age of "80" helps me.
Wow new video I've been binge watching all your videos BIG Thanks I've learned so much from your videos ❤
Glad you’ve been enjoying them 🙏🏻
Link for book does not work
You just have to copy and paste the link into your browser and it will work.
@@MesserCreations should not have to. Thanks anyway.
That paper is expensive. Have you ever used Hot pressed watercolour paper?
It’s the perfect paper for drawing with charcoal though. I think it’s worth the investment.
How do you fix your drawings and if you do what do you use? How do you store your work?
Hairspray, works like a charm.
@@MesserCreations hairspray turns yellow so not recommended.
If you use the paper, charcoal pencils, and hairspray I recommend it doesn’t yellow. I have drawings that I sealed with hairspray 10 years ago and they look brand new. No yellowing…
You’re the best ! 😊
Hahah I appreciate that 😊
This is a very cool method. Loomis method does not work for me, but Reilly method and Asaro Method works fine for me. It would be interessting if you could combine Reilly and Asaro Method because I like gesture drawing. Additional I am using triangulation method (in mind) to get the propotion of the basic schapes correct.
thanks i learned a lot from this video
You are welcome!
But isn't it true that hairspray will yellow over time??
Not in my experience.
Can you by chance do a step by step of a seahorse? I know you've got one where you're doing it all in about 2 minutes but I'd love to see one step by step. Did the giraffe one a while back and it turned out incredible!
This is genius
Thanks :)
I need to practice, to gain this level ✍🏻
It takes time but you will get better :)
yes, l’ve been trying. I found your great lessons on Skillshare also 👩🏻💻 followed you recently
The problem I have with this method is whenever I want it to look sideways in a 3/4 view, it always looks down. Any idea on how to fix that?
Use the vertical and horizontal axis lines in the side oval as you guide for the direction your subject is looking. Remember the eyes follow the angle of the horizontal axis line.
I like your profile / dp , Thank youuu for this beautiful video 🥰🥰
My pleasure 😊
thank you so much i struggled drawing heads so much and gave up, but this video helped me alot, tysm
You're welcome 😊
Thank you Jesus Christ. I'm just kidding bro, very informative vid 😁
Hahaha no worries 😌
gotta say this was more of a draw along instead of an actual guide to understanding facial features with the loomis method. still a good video for those who want that but not for me 🙏🙏
You're tutorial is the only one I found suitable for me this method. Thanks a lot 😊
Glad it helped! :)
❤❤❤❤
:)
I was just wondering if it would be possible to get a link to the reference photo as I really want to draw this?! I absolutely love your channel and realtime tutorials, so thank you for all the time and effort you put into it 😊
Absolutely my friend, here is the link to the reference photo. If you have an Instagram you should tag me in your post so I can see your work. Take care! :) drive.google.com/file/d/1dzHHxDapFq-XYT1WUDD_sWZKYQyab4N_/view?usp=sharing
What pencils are you using as they are not the Derwent ones?
These charcoal pencils are the most similar to the ones I use for my drawings. links.messer-creations.com/amazon/cfMzJ
Ok. I wud just skip all the lines in the middle of the face. But Gud👍
Okay thanks
ok how to learn to draw a circle without deleting it off the canvas 20 times

@@MesserCreations Uhhh... I don't think I can use this with a drawing tablet, unless I'm supposed to stab into it.
@mentallyRdacted oh lol I didn’t realize you use a tablet. Yeah that’s not gonna work.
@@MesserCreations I respect the hustle nonetheless
I like how you broke these videos down- eyes nose mouth. Each with 3 angles. Thx
I was hoping by doing it with three separate angles that it would help more than just showing one angle.
@@MesserCreations yes, i think its better with three angles because if you master those angles you are going to have a strong base and its going to be sooo much easier to draw the hard perspectives
Great video! Concise. And as always, chill. Gracias amigo!
Glad you liked it!
How do you price your work? Do you go by size? By hours spent drawing?
I always quote clients flat rate. When you are first starting out this can be kind of tricky because you may not know how long a certain piece will take to create. As you develop you will start to understand you own abilities and by rights how to price yourself. I hope that helps :)
You explained it perfectly! Thank you so much
You are so welcome 🙏🏻
Hello. I'm loving your tutorials, and would like to ask what size paper do you use? Thanks
You’re welcome 😊Here is the Amazon link to the exact paper I use in my tutorials: links.messer-creations.com/amazon/2LPt9

Never thought I’d be asked to draw a chicken but here we are. Thanks for sharing the technique in detail and how to use the tools properly. This video is very informative and helpful!
Yay! You are so welcome 🙏🏻
It may seem subtle or inconsequential, but the very fact that you addressed your audience by saying "artists like us" is a huge thumbs up from me. The hardest part of starting out in art is that I don't "feel" like an artist. Thank you for addressing us as equals on this journey. It means the world to me.
You are so welcome my friend. I’m glad you found the channel and I hope it helps you. 😊🙏🏻
This is great to learn how to draw a real face using the loomis method
Glad you think so! 😊🙏🏻
Looking forward to the release of your book in Switzerland/ London 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😊

Thanks for this video young man 🙏🏽
You are most welcome :)
Great instructor, indeed! If it is possible to place the camera on a harness where the camera would be pointing down where we could see from a better angle your drawing; that would be great.
Asaro plane method is almost like reileys abstraction method, however eyebrow ,chin, mouth, all are in circles in reileys ,in asaro it's planes ,but both are effective
I agree :)
Useful and straightforward. Thanks
You are welcome :)
