Hello and greetings from Spain. After changing the lever, do you not have to adjust or modify any of the motorcycle's electronics? In the original assembly to upshift, the switch is compressed and after the modification the switch is stretched...does the bike understand this? Thank you!!!

Great video! Some things to keep in mind also: 1. Hand tighten with the drain plug. Don't crank it down hard or you'll crack the oil pan on these bikes.. and then you'll have way bigger issues on your hands. 2. I use Japanese FUMOTO locking check valve drain plugs on all my bikes. Makes the job way easier (more than it already is) and lots cleaner also. The FUMOTO FG7B is the right thread pattern for this bike.

I FOUND THAT R&G SHOULD HAVE CREATED A SMALL POST ON THE CROSS BAR AND AN ASSOCIATED HOLE IN THE KNOBS, AS WHEN TORQUING TO 40NM, THE KNOB STARTED TO ROTATE FROM LEVEL AND IT IS DIFFICULT TO HOLD IT STILL. YOU END UP HAVING TO START WITH IT ROTATE COUTNERCLOCKWISE, SO AS YOU TIGHTEN THE 17MM BOLT THE KNOW ROTATES TO THE LEVEL END POINT. YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO USE BOTH THE THIN AND THICK SPACERS TO KEEP THE CROSS MEMBER FROM STRESSING THE CHASSIS.

That K&N oil filtered is totally outlawed in my area at the track. That "nut" on top has separated 2x on two different bikes and trashed the asphalt.

You need to refresh the ECU. You can't just throw a pipe on these machines.

Thanks for the video. Pro tip: use heat from a small propane torch or similar (even a hair dryer will help) to expand that outside pipe for easier installation and or removal.

An excellent how to. Your speech pattern and directions were excellent and perfectly paced. The shots to highlighted manual pages were awesome. My only advice would be to do it again with better lighting. The ambient light from outside your garage causes glare and makes it hard to see the areas you are working in especially the glass sight window and the filter area. These improvements are not that big a deal but would make the video perfect. I am 100% confident I can do the job properly now. Can’t thank you enough.✌️
