Any updates, this is from four years ago?
Any one kmows where to buy the seeds for this tree ? Thanks
Thank you for the information! We had a tenant move out and she left one of these on the porch. I took it in with my other plant babies and it suddenly flowered after I gave it a good soak and words of encouragement! I just cut the two seed pods off to dry them and thus, watched your video.
I love that clear planter where did you get it from
I’ve had my fairly newish plants in a hanging basket outside and they are still not flowering. Any ideas why?
My bird nest has white fuzzy stuff at the crown and new leaf. Do you know it is bug or just normal for fern?
I just recently discovered how much I like coleus! Bought some seeds and some plants. I overwintered a couple of them and they are doing well. Enjoyed your video and thank you for the seed labels! How kind of you to share those.
Stress on first syllable, short 'i'. A favourite plant of mine on my tropical veranda. I invite visitors to stroke it. Mine never gets direct sunlight. You can grow it by just laying a leaf on some potting mix. It will grow from the leaf. The small white growths are stipules.
The colors will they change year on year with polunantion
How much humidity does it need if grown indoors? Would it work indoors in a dry desert climate like Phoenix, Arizona?
I hope I didn’t mess up my new starter. I trimmed last night but I didn’t put trim back in to fill it out. I have repotted them to make more for my yard. Do the cuttings placed in the pot with Mother end up attaching to mother plant? Or do they still stay individually and just fill that way? Hope that makes sense lol. But in short way, I just repotted cuttings last night…. Should I instead move them back into a pot with the mother plant as filler?
OHHHH, one more…. I’m in IL and with it being rain season, my poor baby got DRWNCHED bc I wasn’t home. Some bottom leaves are super squishy. Will they recover or just take those off?
Had it for years, never taking care of it lol, but it still alive. Thanks for your tips, I'll help clear the debris in the core
I want some mother of thousands
Can I revive apuny birds nest fern.I may have a bad rosette
Will it grow in leca?
amazing.
I am new to this plant and love it too...i planted mine with geraniums and one with Lantana...just trying things out..i see you have another plant eith yours as well..is there any probkem with doing that? Thank you
I am in zone 8b
This video was very well done. You have a great collection there. Have you tried the method where you cut slits? I was wondering if you may have a video on that method? Very excellent video well done
This was an awesome video I just started growing coleus myself and I realized I planted wayyy too many and now I feel bad I won't want to kill any but they are starting to show signs of problems on top of we just had a huge storm with hail and it tore up a bunch of foliage and wrecked my soil. Your video helped save my babies! Thank you again 🙏
Will this have aerial roots? Should I use moss pole for this?
I have a crispy wave birds nest, and it has plenty new growth, but the new fronds are skinny and grow "straight up" as opposed to curving a bit.. Is this normal? Will they thicken up and bend more as they mature? Thanks
Fertilize
Love the pot it's in ❤
I'm going to start saving seeds
That is a zebra plant
Is it possible to propergate your bird nest fern?
Yes, but it’s a bit challenging for a beginner
Thanks for the video. I've seen two kinds of cheap self-watering pots: ones like in the video (with a wick) and ones that take the water through bottom (or side) grooves. I imagine that for the systems that draw the water directly through holes, there is a higher chance of overwatering and causing root rot. Wick-based systems might be easier to control by choosing a thinner wick (and preferably synthetic, to avoid rotting). So, I'm not sure, which kinds of planters are better for which plants and soils.
hi there i have a heatr leaf hoya same pattern on it as yours i got it in february this year i want to transplant it into a bigger pot the one it's in is very small the only fresh compost i have is bonsai mix will it be ok in that i wish it would grow faster.
Such a beautiful plant #plantlover / #musiclover 💌
I was looking to root a cactus in water and found your channel. I'm a new subscriber. I have a some what large monstera. It's been 5 years now for you. How did this work for you? I'm wanting to do this.
It’s pronounced per-light. Not para-light
but how did you rescued it.... like where did you put it, how did you misted it
Baby Sun Rose
But what causes the black centre and leaves?.
I have the same issue with the Japanese Beetles - i moved my planter near my peppermint plants and they leave it alone - now they just feast on my Rose of Sharon flowers..sigh
Did you do this as soon as you brought it home? Or do you let your plant get used to its new environment before taking it out of its pot and checking roots? I just got one yesterday, I did trim the brown edges off her, the soil is very wet, I think the seller had watered it that day, I want to check the roots but I’m not sure if I should wait or not ☺️
I discovered coleus for the first time last summer. I was fortunate to run into a sale at Walmart and loved watching it grow and it was so healthy. Anyways I bought some seeds and am giving them a try, maybe I'll have coleus to put out on my patio....
My mother loved growing this plant she potted them beautifully.
Wow ! Love your information ❤ Thank you so much 😊
Thank you for watching!! 🌱
Do you Fertilize it with anything?
For this I would use an easy succulent fertilizer. Here is an Amazon link to what I used. It’s really easy…just put one or two pumps in your watering can. amzn.to/3xo9nmu
I just repotted my Victoria birdsnest plant and the bottom leaves keep turning yellow and dying off. Maybe I'm putting to much water.. Help please
They started turning brown after you repotted? Or did you repot it because of the browning leaves? Are they dry and crunchy?
The plants with the bunny’s 😂🚬
BROOOOOO dont call grafted cacti " goofy " !!!! that's hate speech and not very woke of you ....
Four years later , how big is it ?
Just started watching but I had to comment about the size and beauty of your begonia! Amazing
Thanks so much 😊
If I leave outside and it rains is that ok
Sure! If it rains consecutive days you might want to cover it though.
The string in the bottom is to bottom water and makes the roots stronger .
I have been trying to find a variety of colors and have not been successful. Do you by chance sell your seed packs to the public? I would be very interested in purchasing from you!
I am out of seeds currently. I’m hoping to have some in the fall and I’d be happy to send you some! Message me on insta and let’s connect. @suburbansill In the meantime you can order some on Amazon but I bet you’ll find variety packs at your favorites greenhouse real soon! amzn.to/3U3nmXN
