For the same money, nowadays we get a bumpy-riding (because every luxury car must compete at Nurburgring) disposable fashion accessory, full of unnecessary electronic trinkets. In 15 years, it will be landfill. 🤔

Natoma Gold Dredging Co, utilized a Packard like this with an Ingersoll Rand air compressor mounted aboard, still employed hard rubber tires and chain drive. Top speed about 20 mph. Employed re-wind starter and was easy to start once you learned the routine.

I remember how those engines really used to sound.
