What is the speed limit of class 2, and class 3 rails?
Class 2 is 2h mph for freight, and 40 for passenger. And class 3 is 40mph for freight, and 60mph for passenger trains.
Does anyone know the speed limit of freight trains?
Depends on what class/tier the rails are rated for. The class of a section of track determines the maximum possible running speed limits and the ability to run passenger trains. This particular rail in the video should be class 2, but it's being ran at a class 3.

For more than 20 plus years I lived two blocks from where this N&S comes into the port in Norfolk. The streets alternate grade crossing and overpass. A lot of backing up and turning around if you took a grade crossing street and the whistle.
