Its crazy how much better dbz is than super. Nothing will beat og dragonball and dbz. Hell id almost take gt back lol. Dont get me wrong i like that super is a thing but its not serious at all its a joke most the time and just fun fights and all that but its silly and there are way way way too many transformations now that was already an issue at the end of z and all they were doing was essentially pushing further into the regular ssj but yeah im glad super is a thing cause we get more dragonball but its just not the same not even close and they dont even keep up with it they started jt made a few seasons and movies and then dropped it like wth the manga kept going wheres the anime?!?!? I get not wanting to be ahead of the manga but at this point they are just not making it and waiting for no reason hell they waited so ling the creator died

In a way vegeta reffering to piccolo as namek or the namekian (depending on which dub or sub you watch) is actually more correct in that instance than callling him by his old piccolo name cause picollo was only the ine half of the original being now that kami and picollo are back together again they are now the originalone oerson again who was back then always reffered to as the namekess namekian. So vegeta is the only correct one here…
Oh wow, i never realized Piccolo calls him his friend. I mean, everyone knows theres a mutual respect and their dynamic is 🔥. But, vegeta having remorse for the namekians he murdered, and piccolo seeing himself in Vegeta.. is just amazing growth/development.

It was Piccolo who told Vegeta about his journey in life and it's implications on the after life (Other World) Kakarot was his example but Piccolo was his messenger, telling him the truth behind it all and what it all meant. This was the moment Vegeta became an Earthling and embraced reality. Incredible moment and he was given the insight behind everything that baffled him before
Not only that but later on he got his reward, King Yemma put his name back in the Book of Life and gave him his body back so he could rise from the grave to fight Evil Buu again. That's when he got to fuse with Goku to become Vegeto.
