I personally prefer to believe that she never betrayed him but instead loved him to much to let him go to hell so she chose to lie and admit that she had an affair to save him. Also Decim decide who is sent to hell or heaven based on their action during the game. The thing is since he's not human he sometimes does not understand why some people act the way they do ( you can see he was surprised when she admitted she had an affair when he knows she in fact never cheated) Had she not done that the man would have been the one to be sent to the void.

Also random thing I haven't seen anyone else mention. I'm pretty sure when the Queen and Naofumi are talking on the balcony alone, and the captions don't show the Queen's full sentence. "And for King Aultcray and Malty to . . ." I'm pretty sure the implication there is that the queen told Naofumi that she was going to sentence them to death. Especially since she said that only them two know about it. It also explains why Naofumi says things about him wanting to see it happen and that he knows what's going to happen. He knew they were going to be sentenced. Also, the Queen told him before because she knew that Naofumi was the only person who could save them and she wanted to give him time to think about it and have a conscience. There would've been a chance of him going along with it in the heat of the moment if he found out about it at the same time as everyone else. She wanted to give those two the best chance at living, and give Naofumi a chance to 'make the right decision' and not have their deaths potentially weigh on his conscience later.

If Sword Art Online is romance, and Konosuba is comedy, Overlord is either slow-burn psychological thriller, or live-play D&D evil campaign. Or maybe Grim-dark Fantasy. Either way, it stubbornly defies categorisation in classic terms. The best way I can describe it is an "anti-hero's journey", as in, it's literally the opposite of the hero's journey trope.
