Weekend in Warsaw, Poland Note: I said in the video the Polish monarchy ended in 1918, as pointed out in the comments this is incorrect. The last king of Poland was forced to abdicate in the partition of Poland in 1795 - apologies for the error!

Missed all the nightlife, the festivals, the cool bars ..
Lijepo je vidjeti da sam napravio neke specijalitete šetajući ovim gradovima, zanimljivo je vaše gledište, pozdrav i nastavimo pokazivati ova mjesta. Pozdrav iz Sarajeva.
You missed Ada Lake, hope you enjoyed
Struggling to find what to do in Belgrade, especially during the summer? My guy, did you miss a lot for sure. Next time, if you hopefully come, please find out in advance what are the happenings at the moment because there aren't enough hours in a day to go to all the cool events around the city. Cheers
I was last in Warsaw 5 years ago. and I see that Warsaw is even more beautiful
Any notable changes from your last visit?
Welkomes Polands
Last King of Poland was forced to abdicate after Partitions of Poland by foreign powers in 1795, so no we do not get rid of them in 1918 like Tsars in Russia 😂, plus our monarchs were elected by nobles since roughly 1600s, after two dynasties Piast and Jagiellons. Wilanow was summer residence of Jan III Sobieski (known for his victory over Ottomans at Vienna 1683), fun fact name Wilanow is polonised ville neuve (in French new town)
Thanks I have added a note to the description, not sure where I got that from!
Poles didnt get rid of their Royal family in 1918, as the last king ended its reign in 1795 when Poland lost independence. And to be precise the last true royal family died out in 16th century.Since then the kings were being elected in a democratic elections. ;)
Thanks I have added a note to the description, not sure where I got that from!
@@thesamball You got it mixed with Russia, probably. The Romanovs were murdered in 1918.
@@Edidin my guess is I did a quick Google at the time and read the wrong thing, sorry!
@@thesamball Nothing to apologize for, come on. :) I dare say many Poles wouldn't be able to tell the exact date beyond the century and I really don't expect guests to know such things. :)
Wow, so many museums in one visit! You guys are exceptional. But you could also have spent time relaxing and having fun in Warsaw or outside of it (somewhere in nature or in other Polish cities). It's a lot of history all at once, but I'm glad you found it interesting. Most tourists from the UK come to Krakow to get drunk and are completely uninterested in history and culture. I hope you will visit us again as you are a very nice couple - just maybe next time give yourself more time to rest and relax - we have nice places to do that too and it's certainly cheaper than in the UK. You are very welcome to visit us again !!!!! 🙂
Thanks I have done Krakow before and Millie has done Katowice, we both really like the country
Wspaniale, że odwiedziliście muzea🙂 Podkład muzyczny jest super. Pozdrawiam was☺
You are indeed exceptional, you visited more castles/museums than me over 20 years. Very much welcome British tourists in Warsaw from the upper class. Btw, one of the songs (folklore songs) in the background was Ukrainian not Polish. This is maybe on purpose as 25% of inhabitants of Warsaw now are Russian speaking, mainly Ukrainians and Belorussians etc.
Thanks, not sure we are upper class though!
It was thanks to Maria Curi that Albert Aistain gained fame
Rly?..
What planet you came from? I always knew that if aliens will visit Earth they will land in Poland.
Poland had elected kings, not a foreign German family ruling the country, like in England. ☺️
A lot of Dublin people would not go to Temple Bar for a night out. It's an overpriced tourist trap, for the most part. There are better and more cosmopolitan areas around Grafton Street and west of it, e.g. South William Street/South Great George's Street/Camden Street, where there are lots of nice bars and restaurants.
I saw you in Cardiff Castle And I hope you had the rest of your Day in lovely Cardiff
Go on laddddddd, iya Sam's bird. You going to be making exclusively vlogs? I can keep an eye on you this way haha
