I like the bottom one more for this drawing in particular, but the upper method definitely has its uses

Usually, I don’t like how blue looks on red… But with that one, it might be my favorite.

I definitely prefer the premixed one… But I feel like you can mix the methods. Like that yellow in that green being mixed the first way onto a cactus would look great!

I think both. The top one makes it look more naturally grown when its not quite fully grown or possibly like a drought type issue and the bottom one is a fully grown or more perfect plant.

The upper one has more texture thanks to the colours not fully mixing together

Reminds me of realistic vs cartoon color options. Very similar but it makes a difference in the style of painting you want.
